Tip for Booking Your Vegas Vapefest Room at the Flamingo
Last night I was trying, to no avail, to book a room at the Flamingo for Vapefest. I was going to reserve Thursday-Monday using the link on this page Vegas Vapefest 2011! After clicking the link "click here to reserve room" you are directed to this page

The group code SFNVC1, thanks to the National Vapers Club, is already typed in for you.
I made numerous attempts to make this reservation but it would not work. I kept getting an error message, when Sunday was included. Today I called them and stayed on hold forever. At least it seemed like forever, at least 40 minutes, anyway. I finally hung up and began to get really angry

Then I remembered I had been to Harrah's in New Orleans a while back and I am a Total Rewards member. I logged into my Total Rewards account and tried booking again and it worked flawlessly. I did have to manually enter the code though. The rates were $59 for Thursday and Sunday and $119 for Friday and Saturday.
To make it easier on yourself sign up for a Total Rewards account before you make your reservation.
I hope this saves someone the headache and frustration I got when making my reservation.
