hey all, I am guessing many do this already, but I have been using this tip lately and it seems to work well.
I have been using the dual coil tanks and normally the cartos last about 5 days before they get too plugged up to use. I started using a pin to keep the carto open and usable. Normally when I notice the draw getting tight, I take the needle and carefully slide it in and out of the carto from the battery end. I do this a few times spin it, then kinda drag the tip against the inside to knock some baked on crust off. Then I sometimes blow from the tip into a towel and you can see the black chunks of dried juice come out. My current carto is in it's third week and still working fine.
I don't think there is any real "right way" to do it, just be a little careful you don't pull/push the guts out. Beyond that, just use what ever you have, my wife had been using a regular needle and feeding it all the way through a few times to clean it.
I have been using a t-pin like the pic, takes about 10 seconds to clean them out.
