hey all, I am guessing many do this already, but I have been using this tip lately and it seems to work well.

I have been using the dual coil tanks and normally the cartos last about 5 days before they get too plugged up to use. I started using a pin to keep the carto open and usable. Normally when I notice the draw getting tight, I take the needle and carefully slide it in and out of the carto from the battery end. I do this a few times spin it, then kinda drag the tip against the inside to knock some baked on crust off. Then I sometimes blow from the tip into a towel and you can see the black chunks of dried juice come out. My current carto is in it's third week and still working fine.

I don't think there is any real "right way" to do it, just be a little careful you don't pull/push the guts out. Beyond that, just use what ever you have, my wife had been using a regular needle and feeding it all the way through a few times to clean it.

I have been using a t-pin like the pic, takes about 10 seconds to clean them out.

I don't often have to clear the air tube since I started using 100% PG juices with my Boge 2.0 cartos. High VG juice seems to swell the filler and restrict the air tube for some reason.

I use a jumbo paper clip with a leg straightened at a right angle. The remainder of the clip gives you a handle to hold it with. I insert and rotate gently.

I straighten a paperclip (leave a bit jagged), and gently run it through, and wipe on paper towel until clean. Also I found some tiny pipe cleaners at a craft store, I haven't tried them yet, but imagine they should work just fine. I too get 3-4 weeks out of mine, I could probably get more, but toss them because I start feeling like a big cheap-o.

I don't notice a burnt taste, but I usually vape cinnamon flavored, which might overpower everything. But I also feel like the burnt taste comes from burnt filler in the carto, and not the coil itself. So if you have one that gets to that point (tastes burnt) there really is nothing you can do IMHO. and this way of "cleaning" it doesn't do much besides open up the airway a little, doesn't do much to really clean the coils.
