Hello folks! Did a lot of research before settling on a ego-c for my first e-cig. Unfortunately, a bit too much because I can barely remember some of the details and tips people have given along the way to get the best performance. I was hoping some of you lovely people could answer/remind me. In return, I shall offer you a funny story from my first attempt to take a drag.
Tips I can't seem to remember what they're for
-Something about a plastic film having to be punctured? Is this that thing I see on the atty head?
-Something about hearing a click?
-Loosening the battery a bit for a better hit? Is this just how tightly the body is put together? There's about 4 different areas that screw together if you include the bottom battery. Just wondering which point this refers to?
-Steeping or not steeping? What's that about?
Questions:
-So, loaded the juice, put it all together. Can I keep the E-cig assembled when out and about? Or am I disconnecting the cart from the body and keeping it separately until ready for use?
-I heard attys and carts will last approx one week depending on use?
-Any frequent mistakes rookies make with these models? I'd like to head them off if possible.
Your reward: So... super psyched when the delivery guy showed up. Tear everything open and I'm missing the Smoktech 1.5 cartomizers I ordered to try. Whatever, no big deal. Struggle for the longest time trying to fill the damn carts, liquid go in dangit! Finally find a toothpick and get it going fairly quickly. Sweet. Load two carts with some different flavours and find my battery's all green lit. Woot! Put it all together, watch the how to vape video again, and off to the races! Button down, primer puff, slow long drag. Inhale... and huh?! I paid 200 for this crap? You can barely feel anything at all! I'll never quit smoking! Oh no! Look down, there are my two filled cartridges. Look at the ego, cartridge is in but I'm pretty sure I only filled two. Sure enough, I took a third empty one. *smacks head* No worries! Insert one of the filled carts, 2mm left so there's an air bubble. Button down... slow 5 sec inhale. DEATH, UTTER DEATH. Holy moly does it pack a punch, moreso than I expected, so I guess even my "light slow inhales" aren't light and slow enough. Shouldn't have any problem quitting with this baby!
Cheers! And thanks again for any help and tips. As I find them, maybe I can create a little newbie faq deal.
