Yikes...
Are you using the RBA or the replaceable stock coils?
I'll be honest, washing a coil is pretty much guaranteed to wreck it.
My advice, buy a new coil for your tank.
Clean and dry your tank thoroughly using only water and start fresh, it may take a tank or so to completely rid yourself of the menthol taste but it's probably your best bet.
When swapping between flavours in the same tank I always try and keep to something similar, I.e strawberry to cherry.
Good luck :)

Oh I'm dumb, I thought you were using a rebuildable.

Yeah, you're gonna have to swap out the coil head for a new one. There's not really any "getting the flavor out" without a rewick, which is very hard to do in those pre-made heads.
Absolutely right RBAs and RTAs are much easier. Pull the wick out dry burn the coil and rewick after thoroughly rinsing the atty.

i just bought a tfv4 off my mate and he loves menthol , I can't stand menthol and the taste is still in the coils after rinsing it under the tap about 3 times and adding my own juice , I don't have alcohol or anything just water really . How can I get the menthol taste out

Better yet get an atty for yourself.
