(my husband does NOT like it and so when he's around I abstain in order to keep the peace).

I have the same problem. I chain vape all day while he is at work. I guess I do this because I know that when he gets home I am very limited to how often I can vape. The weekends are the worst because he is here and I only get to vape maybe three times in a day.

I switch between 18mg and 24mg. Maybe I should try zero for my chain vaping. I really feel like I don't need the nic I just enjoy the motions and the taste.

Hi Nouveau,
I am fairly new to vaping and I also chain vape. I find myself vaping a lot more than I smoked, mostly because I can vape in places where smoking isn't allowed. I'm using 18mg and I find that works perfectly for me, when I try using 24mg it's a bit too much for me personally. When I first started vaping I tried sticking to the same schedule I did when I smoked. I found that wasn't working for me, because I still felt the need to have an analogue with that. Now I sit at my desk and vape whenever I fell like it, & I find the urge to smoke is a lot less now that I'm vaping more. In the end it's up to you, if you feel it's too much then maybe it is. But if your not having any side effects then maybe chain vaping is what you need for the first few weeks to stay away from the nasty cigs. Good Luck.

+1

It's not always about the nicotine. I just dropped my nicotine level down to 12mg because I was chain vaping 18mg, and I made myself feel ill a couple of times. And I was starting to get so used to it that I wasn't ever feeling ill affects from it. Last thing I want to do is become MORE addicted to the stuff.

Hey all. I had a busy day today and am just now able to check for replies on my question and wow, thanks! It's nice to know that I am not the only newbie (or not so newbie) that can't put down the pv.

I got my 36mg juice in the mail about an hour ago and now that my cart is empty, I'm about to put a couple drops in. I've tried 36 a few times already thanks to understanding and generous friends, so I know it's a beautiful thing. lol.

Hopefully, I'll be able to step away from the pv more now that it will give more satisfaction. I also think the timer is a great idea. I was a very fast smoker...never wasted a drag...so 4 minutes oughta do me. :)

Again, thank you for all the advice and similar testimonies. In the end, whether chain vaping or not...vaping is awesome. Love it. :D

Maybe it's a good thing I take mine with me in the bathroom. I would stealth vape in there if I had to hide from my husband.

I'm pretty happy right now...mostly due to the brand new 36mg juice I'm vaping. So far, I've been able to vape for 5 minutes or so and put it down for 20 minutes. I'll see how I do after dinner. Evenings after dinners is always when I want more nicotine. But now that I'm getting a throat hit EVERY time I take a drag, it's probably going to be easier not to chain vape. I'm still going to try using the timer on my cell phone, though. lol.

As for the concern over chain vaping, my main issue (someone asked me to define issues) is that I don't want to be constantly vaping just because I can. I'm afraid after awhile I won't enjoy it or will want even higher mg juice. That's all. If I chain vape here and there, that's cool. I'm just such a newb I'm worried about getting obsessed with vaping. lol.

it seems i have the same problem, 18mg maybe it the goooood flavors making me come back for more.. i dunno.

like someone else said i don't want to be more addicted.
I honestly and truely believe you WON'T be more addicted to nicotine (unless you are cahin vaping 36mg + in which case you also probably have a raging headache, and are in the bathroom more often than not..lol) but you MIGHT get more addicted to the 'habit' part (stick something in mouth, puff, blow part).
I don't see it as an issue unless you THINK its an issue, in which case, just set yourself limits or use the zero nicotine juice option.
What I personally don't see an an option (and this is from someone who never planned on quitting smoking at all) is returning to analogs as chain smoking is for sure 100% 'an issue'.
