Tips to help me build this?

So I've lurked on the modding forums for some time. I've dreamed of modding my own piece for some time now and I think it is time.

I recently ran across pictures of a piece made by a french modder that goes by Vapeyboy on various forums. I love his design and would like to make something similar. It seems simple enough but I am hoping someone may have some insight about parts. I've got some pics attached that I got from www.depechemods.com.

What do you guys think? It looks most of the parts are leather work supplies. The button looks like a simple Chicago screw with a spring.

I'm thinking that an ego connection like he used is fine and then use something like a VTR extension rba use?

What's your take? Where do I start?

Seems to me thats just a silly mod, just because.

It is uber easy to make if you really wanna make it but so unsafe its not practical.
From its design one drop and quick hands will be in order to stop it from auto firing
A z bracket, cut a L piece of wood, a spring, flat bolt with found at hardware cabinet pull or such
a hanger or brass rod and done oh yeah an ego 510 extension
