Mosfet Touch Switch Simple How To Video

I wanted to make this video to show how easy it can be with the right parts to make a simple, reliable touch switch for an ecig mod. Keep in mind, I was not shooting for super neatness...the idea behind the design is one thing...function. Thanks goes to everyone who has posted any schematics on this forum....i've read every one. This in my opinion is the simplest for new modders to start with. I hope this video helps.
Mosfet used in mod= IRL3103
Resistors used...(1) 1K Ohm resistor and (1) 2.2 MegaOhm resistor.



Keep in mind this is a big blown up version of what a touch switch can be, just for ease of wiring and learning the basics.

lol, why u used a heat sink?
The IRL3103 never get warm. i cut of the small heat sink of the fet it is not needed. this makes everything smaller

I bet it will get warm if I dryburn a 510 atty Don't forget this vid is just the basics once you build one of these the skys the limit with touch switch configurations next one coming is a darlington pair then a penstyle with a super small touch switch setup. Heat sinks are a good thing Not saying you definitely need a heat sink, but heat sinking your electronics will make them last longer.

hi, im sorry for such a noob question but i honestly dont know much about electronics though i do tinker a lot and diy a lot of other things. would this work for a 6v mod? or do i need to change something in terms of values and such? thank you so much! ill shoot you a pm hope you dont mind.
