You could probably get a Vmax fopr a good price these days. I got one about 4 months ago and it's works great with no problems what so ever; and the price has dropped on them since the Zmax came out. I too have a twist and have never had heat on the button. I actually have 2 twists and one stopped working a while back after falling about four feet to the ground.

With dripping atties think about mass and dissipation of heat. I can tell you for a fact that the Robust has good thermo protection, and needs it when you really hammer a hot running atty (this is one of the things I have against the Twist .. no thermo protection). The best two PV's that I've used for their ability to dissipate that heat are the Silver Bullet and the Provari. I would also point out that the large heavy metal base of most rba's really help with this. Even the top of my full sized Chrome L-Rider (Cylon) will get uncomfortably warm with a dripping atty, but at least the button is far enough down the tube.

Thanks! Good info.

Go for the Robust then. In a few months you will be back asking about the ProVari. Eventually, after you get yours, you will say "I wish someone had told me to buy one earlier".

I hope that won't be the case though, and you find something that will meet your needs and keep you happily vaping and off cigarettes :)

LOL! Understood. Now, you know there is no way I could make a statement like that 'cause you Provari owners never fail to recommend the Provari, no matter what's posted. ;)
