Roughstack by madvapes also deserves a look, great value, the 18350 battery makes it shorter than the big boys, and it really is built like a tank. Speaking of tanks, be aware that the switch placement means that syringe mods, MAP tanks, etc won't work.

They do work however you will need a adapter to clear the switch

I would definitely recommend a provari it is a solid device that is tough and can take a drop ! I was in the same boat as you I wanted a well built mod that was VV and had a strong long lasting button because thats where I have had the most problems with other mods and the provari's is as good as it gets, it always works and doesn't seem as though it will ever fail .

No, the way you do it is to e-mail Rob reo@reosmods.com, and include your preferences. He will e-mail you back as to what's available.

Exactly. When he says "notify me" he means it; I think Rob has the best customer service I've had for pretty much anything I've bought online or off. =)

Obviously from all of the posts, you have a good many choices. Everyone has their faves, and for good reasons. The Buzz is a good vv that has been on the market for a while; while the Provari and the Infinity have only been recently produced, so they don't have a track record on durability yet.
For a single voltage mod, the GLV2 from GreatLakesVapor has a great track record on durability and can be chosen for 3.7 or 5 or 6 volt, but not variable - you pick one and have it made that way. But as said earlier, don't use LR atties on 5v or 6v mods - they will burn out very very quickly. More than a few find 6v to be a bit too hot unless you use HV atties. But some do like that extra kick, it partly depends on your flavors whether they will hold up well at 6v or not.
The mods from AltSmoke - SB, Omega, and BB - are all very reliable. And the previously mentioned Rough Stack from MadVapes qualifies.
The Megalodon from Electronicstix is also relatively new, but all mechanical, and can take a wide variety of batteries with some use of built in adaptations (a screw on the switch can be tightened or loosened).
There are a lot more with good reputations for durability. But then too, there are some that don't seem to hold up quite so well. The comparatively inexpensive cost of battery replacement for a mod will help reduce the higher initial cost over time.

Reo Mini's on sale tonight At 7 PM EST, a bunch of colors will be available, also the New Wood Reo will be available sometime soon. The next run on Grands will be after that. Rob is always busting his .... to produce these mods, but is sometimes limited by his suppliers. All the Reos are worth the wait, and now the wait isn't even that long

I've owned ALOT of mods.
In my personal opinion, out of all I own--the Omega (all mechanical, built like a tank) would be my choice if I lost every mod I owned and could only buy one.
It just works, no major cleaning regimen like some I had. Feels solid built, and I would lay odd's it would survive some extremely rough treatment and still keep going. I absolutely love it.

Another recent REO owner here. This is an amazingly designed and constructed mod. All mechanical & machined from a block of aluminum. I got juice on & in it; I pulled out the battery and washed the whole thing out with hot water and wiped it dry. Try doing that with any other pv. The mini holds 3ml of juice and uses 14500 batts. One fill of juice and 2 batts gives me all day vape with no muss & fuss. If you want to taste a different flavor, put a few drops into the overflow cup, the atty will suck it right up. Rob makes each one and stands behind each one, that's why it takes him some hard work to keep up with the demand.

I just realized you want high voltage options. For that, go with the REO Grand. You can use 3.7v, 5v and 6v batterys.

Reo mini shipped is about 141.00

For big mods I have a GGTB, GLV and a Megalodon. The GGTB is all mechanical and built like a tank. very nice threads fairly decent spring. The GLV is built like a tank as well great threads perfect spring it really seems to be a great 5volt although it runs a little hot for my liking. It's ok for some juices though. The Megalodon has all kinds of very cool battery options but the threads are too small and easy to crossthread. The spring is tiny. For flat out reliability I would say the GGTB takes the cake. That or just a simple box mod. They are also a very affordable mod at only around $100 including batteries.
