I'm currently using a volt 78 mm battery. I'm a total nube to this vaping stuff. I'm thinking of switching to smokeless images spinner. or something else that has the vv feature and is reliable yet cost affective.also, is there any kind of delivery system such as tanks or anything that I won't have to keep purchasing? something I can refill and refill without having to buy or adjust anything. if not. what lasts the longest for a heavy vaper that I also don't have to tamper with. please help. love the feedback so far. thank you all in advance.

hello. and yes. I am purchasing the 808 blank cartos from a local vape shop and filling with e liquid. the first batch I bought I would smoke till they tasted burnt then refill. I would do this continuously throughout the day.the second batch of blanks i was refilling before I got that burnt taste but that taste just comes back with less time. I am using them by themselves. no tank.

Mind if I ask what cartos you are currently using? Are you careful not to dry them out before refilling? Are you using them in a tank or stand alone?

It appears you can refill those cartos, not really knowledgeable about what kind of threading volt uses. If you are considering the spinner, how about one like this, Vision Spinner VV eGo Battery 1300mAh. They have the 510 and ego cone threading. You would need a charger, and something like the T3 would work nicely on that. By buy something with ego cone threading and 510 threading, you can get supplies from many different vendors, and with the Spinner style you can adjust the voltage to your preference.

You can get 808 thread clearomizers. Also you can but an adapter that allows you to use 510 threads on your 808's. Do some looking through the forums, once you get that burnt taste your carto's are toast. You should be getting 4 to 5 refills minimum out of them. At around 1ml of liquid per fill it seems your vaping an awfull lot. Best suggestion is to look under the 808 subforum, lots of good reads there.

I vape on cartos as well as carto tanks. I've tried the entire array of Vivi, Kanger, and rebuildable tanks and finally settled on cartos for flavor, ease of use, and longevity. I have the same experience as you that with very heavy vaping I only manage 3 days on a stand alone carto but when I use the same carto in a tank I average at least 2 weeks.

If you may be interested in trying a carto tank you can get one fairly cheap. I would recommend something like a Boge F16 or it's slimmer cousin the Boge F17. They both utilize either a 510 XL or 801 XL carto. Both of them come with 1 Boge carto and can be purchased here for between $6-$6.50 with free shipping.

I should start collecting commission from Ikenvape and Boge since I am always recommending them but IMHO they make the best cartos currently. You may have better luck with those brands as far as longevity.

I forgot to mention that should you decide to try the Boge tanks please be aware that the tank portion themselves are made of plastic and is susceptible to cracking if used against reactive juices such as cinnamon and banana.

The Smokeless Image Volt, X2 batteries (ego equivalent), and Volt Spinner (a re-branded Vision Spinner) all have an 808 thread.

You can put the Volt cartos into an empty DCT tank, but you will need to punch holes in then with a carto punch tool. You can purchase this tank "shell" from My Vapor Store (tube and endcaps). The 3.5ml size will work best with the battery size of an X2 or Volt Spinner.

You can also purchase Smoktek cartos that are tank replacements with laser-drilled holes from Smoktek (not Smoktech) in an 808 thread.

The Volt Spinner is 1300 mah (100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge). Prolly 9 times out of ten the reason a carto fails is because it has gone dry. You could use a tank with the cartos OR...
buy a 510 threading Spinner and use the Vision brand Mini Vivi Nova. Of course you'd be switching from 808 thread to 510 threading.
