Am retiring my T3s and Mini-Vivis and going back to my old tried and true 'use'em and lose'em' CE4s... Tired of all the leaking, gurgling, flooding, dead head out of the packaging, and other probs I keep having with the new and improved models... Think I'm going to stick with the ol' CE4s until I get the RBAs I've ordered and have figured out how to build and use those properly!!

And, yes, I've tried all the tricks and tips on how to rebuild and/or 'fix' the problems with the new and improved ones too with little to no success!

Sorry, just bummed out at the moment!

Believe me I know where you're coming from - I was there earlier this week. There's just sometimes you get sick of the nonstop fiddling, etc.

I will get better. I cured this syndrome with new gear

The absolute worst for me was the bloody gurgling, drove me insane regardless of which tank I was using...till I found my protank and it's never once gurgled. The only problem I had was that I was going thru coils every three days. I finally figured out that it was just the stock coils that came with that one, they weren't very good. The second protanks extra coils were just fine, no problems and I'm still using them.

You're not alone!

While I have carto tanks, evods, T3s, Novas and mini Novas, and straight cartos, when I'm going out, it's a couple of CE4+ on batteries. Old reliable.

Yah, I've had the occasional one leak, either where the plastic meets the metal, or down the air tube, but in general, no muss no fuss. (Although the T3 is, for me, a pretty close second for pain free. Just have to plug a hole or two for the draw I like....)

The rest of my gear is mostly for "at home" use, when I can either choose to fiddle with it, or switch out.

Congratulations on moving up to great vaping on the RBA's! I went through the same thing. I cannot understand how anyone could recommend those things, but people keep doing it! I only use cartotanks and RBA's now.

Evods, t3's are just straight garbage. Not sure why so many recommends them when all they do is give you problems I have tried so many thinking I got a dud, but they are all duds... I have even rebuilt them with mesh and my opinion does not change. Honestly if the t3 line was only thing I had, I would just smoke cigs as the bottom coil kangers are worthless.

Funny, I have been loving my EVODs.

I hated, I mean absolutely hated the T3s. I liked the BCC Megas, but the EVODs are wonderful. I pull the top wick (and ONLY the top one) and I have a wonderful vaping experience. Just goes to show, different strokes for different folks.

Oh, I almost forgot-unscrew the coil and rinse the new EVODs out thoroughly with hot tap water for about a minute before vaping. Other than the limited capacity of the EVOD, I really don't see a downside. I even like the plastic tip. The stainless looks pretty sharp on my eVic, too.

Eating juice, gurgling, flooding is not an issue for you?
They look great, work good for about 5 mins and you come back and expect the unexpected.
Explain to me why every single one I have tried, along with 3 others have the same experience and you were able to dodge the machine gun spray while it hit everyone else?

He's not the only one who's never had a problem. I've had really good luck with kanger t3's.

I don't know why.

I am using 80VG/20PG at about 10-10.5 Watts. Or, 4.7 V with a 2.1 ohm coil. Is it possible that you are using less power or higher PG ratio? I do find that they sometimes flood when I get below 4 volts.

I will say that I have had better experience at higher voltages, but still same fate. I was using 70/30.

Lucky guy! Go play the lotto then.. LOL.

My conclusion was not from one single unit. I have tried multiple t3's/evods, and also from different vendors.
I have also used it on Vamo, segeli, provari's, mvp, ego twist, ego 1100mah, and tons of mechanical devices. My opinion is not from one bad experience. It was used on all vv/vw in all spectrum.
I wanted to like these so much, sleek look, tough ss construction in a tiny atomizer.

I use CE4, K2, K3, and Protank clearos... Perhaps I am just lucky, but I have no problems with the "gurgling", or "flooding" that many speak of. Nor do they leak a lot on me. They may each leak a dot or so of juice out of the screw onto the battery end.. and I will very, very rarely get a wee bit of condensation in my mouth, but that it is. Yes, I have had a few of them crack a bit when I am using a type of juice that is KNOWN to crack the type of plastic that they are made of, (excepting the Protank, of course).

The only real complaint I can make about ANY of them is that they ALL mute the flavors of my juices somewhat. I use a 50/50 blend and I am extremely careful as to how I fill them. I make certain that I never get any juice into that center tube - and therefor, no "gurgles". I do not overfill them, so there is no "flooding". I do not let them run dry and I wait until the wicks are well soaked, so there is no "dry burns", either. I am careful NOT to over tighten them down onto the battery, either. I mostly stick the the 2.4ohm range, but do use the occasional 1.8ohm range as well. For the most part, I just use them on eGo type batteries and occasionally will stick one on my Apollo V-tube when I want to "pump up the volume" as it were.
