Is anyone else tired of these so-called vaping video "hosts" promoting products? I'm not even talking about the weak reviewers (like FieldofVapor who recently reviewed a product that he KNEW wasn't going to be the final product).

It is frustrating to be a new vaper and have to deal with fan boys of the P-product comparing everything else to the P-product. I know for a fact that the sigelei Zmax and the eVic are reliable products that are awesome buys.

I have seen so many videos from the guys/gals that have promoted themselves to the forefront of the vaping community via YouTube that are obviously prejudicial. Phil Busardo (sp?) and Nick Green are two of the most reliable I've seen, but even Phil spends a lot of time sucking on the proverbial P-product. His recent Christmas stocking giveaway was a thinly veiled marketing ploy to get people to the P-product site with it in their carts.

We really need prominent, experienced vapers who are giving us unbiased info, despite the fact that they like certain vendors, or that vendors give them some freebies for promos.

My 2 cents.

You're right. I never expected fanboys of fanboys to support me.

Im not a fanboy of fanboys for one. For two you must have missed the part on the website and the video that says "vaping is subjective and youre experience may vary, whatever works best for you IS the best device"

No need to get all sore because someone gave their honest opinion on your device and its shortcomings.

As far as a reviewer using a certain device all the time, did you ever stop to think that maybe it was for consistency or convenience?

Like everything in life often happens, when you learn and get better at things, your taste and likes do too. If you started with a Blu Ecig pack, moved to an eGo setup, then Zmax and so on, you end up really appreciating the finer things for what they are. Yes, the Zmax is a decent buy for someone who is getting into the VV/VW world, and are tinkering and learning. However, after upgrading to a better quality device, it is hard to recommend something that isn't as high a quality.

If you owned a Bolt, then got a Silver Bullet, I think you would understand more so, as the SilverBullet does the same thing, just with a more solid build.

Don't take these things so seriously.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. A lot of comparison is made to the provari because it is a proven solid device. The evic is too under powered to be capable of performing like the provari, and the segeili zmax had the screens falling out of them because they were held on by double sided tape at first. Something that would have been seen with the tiniest effort of lab testing that they did not do. That is why the provari has so many "fanboys"

LOL...are you seriously that blinded by the BS? If you were a new vaper, you would see the clear bias. I want unbiased reviews. I don't want Z-crapomizer combined with P-product based reviews. A damned ego 650 with a cartomizer gave me a darned good vape, before I was told that it sucked.

Fanboys are generated from multiple products, not just the Provari. How many VAMO fanboys are out there? All products are going to have their positives and negatives. The Provari happens to have a track record of reliability that's pretty hard to dispute, so of course it's going to generate fans. I don't understand why it has to generate so much contention as a result. When you're watching a review of a product, no matter what product or where from, you're getting someone's opinion. IF, in that person's opinion, the Provari is their favorite, why not figure out why, and recognize that they're using that as their benchmark product because it's their preference. Then develop your own opinion on the product based on the technical details vs their pros and cons and what they're weighing it up against.

Be a free thinker, not a sheep. Do you believe everything the news tells you because they said so?

Its your obligatory, mandatory, twice a month, thinly disguised Provari hating thread.

It will stay open for a little while because a mod happens to agree with a minor point, in the interest of allowing open discussion, and it will end up being closed because it gets out of hand or someone makes it personal.

This brief synopsis brought to you by the letters B and S.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program

Glad you like them, but I consider the Sigelei Zmax and the eVic disposable Chinese junk.
I don't suppose "prominent" fits, but I would think I am experienced enough to know the difference between products that you toss in the trash when something goes wrong with them, and products that will last a lifetime.
