I've put the o-ring on top of the airflow ring, did the 12guage needle syringe fix, I never drip from the drip tip hole, always unscrew the whole top off... very careful to never over fill. Maybe half way up the well. I don't even lift it off the desk when I hit it. just keep it level and upright all the time.
Thing still leaks all over the place. I'VE HAD IT. My desk is constantly covered in paper towels with juice all over them.

I hate having to drip juice every few hits. Someone PLEASE recommend something with a deep well that doesn't constantly leak all over the place!

I used the O-ring fix and completely removed the airflow control, allowing the cap to screw on fully. That's the only way I was able to keep my magma from leaking, which stinks because I can't control the airflow anymore (unless I use tape and foil). It's an annoying RDA, I agree. I'll be investing in a veritas and a marquis, once I can pinpoint worthwhile clones :)

Same here with 2 Magma authentic s, love the flavor but the desk, my fingers and everything else gets juiced up. Tried different wicking like stuffing some cotton down the middle and that helped a bit.

JUst be careful when not using the AFC as the top cap is not intended to go all the way and potentially could give you a short! I also removed mine for a time until I heard that this happened to someone.

The veritas has been treating me well - vertical coils are harder to wick, but gets great flavor and is "leak resistant" ... I think the marquis may be easier to build and is of higher quality than the veritas... but thats my thought :)

This sounds like good advice from HE, as the Veritas and Marquis both seem to be more flavor-oriented, like the Magma. Quite a few people like the Hobo as well, but I'm not sure how leak-resistant it is. It looks decent, and I want one, but don't have one yet :)

I've settled on a Stillare (which rocks at what it does, IMO) for a leak-free vape, but it's definitely more about airflow than flavor, if that's something you're interested in. Chuff cap that bad boy, and there it is!

Mutation X V3

- Has super deep wells

- I'm a RDA noob and I still haven't been able to get it to leak

- Throws massive clouds

- Only $30

I would second this.
I routinely overfill mine (I also hate having to drip constantly) and have yet to get it to leak.
Plus, the V3 has much better screws than the V2.

However, it's not designed for the same kind of flavor as the Magma.

S.O.D 5k is pretty nice for flavor, the chamber is small compared to other RDA and the driptip is tiny. also has those angled airflow that suppoesly supose to scoop up flavor. It's what I've been using over the magma, i had the same issues as you with the magma. real easy to build on also because of that center nut instead of screwpost. Only downside is that it doesnt have adjustable airflow, but it does have two different topcaps, one with one airhole and one with two airholes. I buy clones cuz i cant afford to pay 80$+ for RDA's, and the S.O.D clones are topnotch.

I have to second the Hobo. Its the only dripper that has kept me away from my Strata.
Very dense vapor, excellent taste, 7.5 out of 10 in terms of clouds, and no leaks.
The Strata still beats it as far as flavor, but the Hobo is so much easier to use.

I typically don't find my magma to be very leaky at all. I have to be careful not to over drip of course but I can still get a lot in there. Can someone link to the o-ring fix? I'm just curious. I suddenly realized that i need to mention that I only ever use the magma in single coil mode. Big difference.

Like others have mentioned i don't get too cavalier with any of my drippers. If i want something worry free (leak free) i put a good tank on like a kayfun. The new kanger subtanks are interesting, i'm looking forward to trying one out here soon.

My problem was never exactly "leaking" out the airflow. It was the afc ring getting really juicy because of the condensation running through the threads of the top cap and into the afc ring.

All the o-ring fix is, is putting an o-ring in the little space at the bottom of the threads where the top cap screws on. If you look closely you'll see a groove below the threads where an oring fits perfectly to seal the cap when you screw it on, stopping the juicy condensate from leaking into the afc ring.

I just edited my post to reference that i only use the magma in single coil mode which definitely mitigates some leakage. I'll have a google for teh oring fix and see if i can find one laying about the house. thanks.

I don't have a link but the o-ring fix is done by taking one of the larger o-rings from your last kayfun setup and placing it on top of the AFC ring before screwing the top of the chamber on. This supposedly prevents juice from getting through the threads of the top and down the sides. Not sure if this is actually the problem though.

I think what is happening in my case is the juice condenses in the top of the cap and then drips down to the deck where the air holes are, then the juice seeps down into the airholes out to the ring and down the top and sides of my vaporshark.

This happens even when I take the top off and juice just the wick, nothing in the well at all. And it's never apparent just after vaping, I'll have a few toots, wipe everything down and come back ten minutes later to find a mess. I'm not tilting or even lifting the device off the desk when I take a pull. It remains upright and level for the entire session.

I've seen YT vids of people carving channels on the deck to isolate the airholes and that supposedly fixes the issue.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions, I ordered a Mutation X V3- $25 for a US made authentic seems like a cheap way to get a better experience. If that doesn't work out then it's going to have to be a veritas. Would like to avoid spending that much though.
