Ordered up a 'blemished' Ti tube in Satin..

Now I need to score a regular ole' Simplicity 18350 OR scrounge me up the top and bottom caps..

Da master plan: The legit Ti will NEVER leave the house and the 'blemished' setup will be used for out and about.

Great minds Dude... I bought the other one. Let me know if you source the end caps. I'll have some made up locally, if necessary.

I'm glad Y'all are enjoying your Ti's, looks like mine hasn't even shipped.

I guess someone had to be last. You always think it's going to be the other guy.

No dice sourcing the caps BUT I snagged a regular Simplicity to use the caps from and am just going to sell off the tube only from said regular Simplicity.

Do you get the feeling that these will forever be known as "The Blemished Ti's?

It's not necessarily a bad thing, more like a Grade II variant (of a variant)

Anyone out there with a Simplicity, or just the caps they're willing to part with?...?....?

Oh well, forward my mail to the classifieds.

I figure it like this..

I snagged a 'blemished' Ti tube for $50 and a Simplicity 18650 for $135. So that's $185. If I get $40 smack-a-roos for the 18650 tube only then I basically scored a 'blemished' Ti (with different top cap and different switch) for a final total of $145.

No bad in my book and if I lose it I won't be devastated.

True dat!

The 18650 was in stock so I just snagged one of them and will simply sell off the 18650 tube only later on.

I am sure someone with a regular Simplicity 18350 or 18500 would like to have a 18650 tube only..

I was wondering who bought the other 18650 Ti. I asked before, but nobody said. :)

Or??? Perhaps you hang onto it. $185 isn't such a bad price for both setups.

It would be worth 40 bucks (to me anyway) to have the 186 version if I needed it

I'd NEVER use 18650 mode.. Heck to me 18490's look like a baseball bat never mind a 18650.. LOL

I was going to wait for the regular Simplicity 18350 to come in stock but I am impatient..

Plus my 18650 tube only has already been claimed! :)
