lol, only cookies I've got here are chocolate chip. I'd offer to mail you some, but I'm already on the POs naughty list for attempting to mail a slice of cake to somebody as a joke . . . they've got NO sense of humor nowadays

That's funny. The PO here, is not a friendly place. I guess they did not get the memo, they live and work in 'paradise'. :)

I'm going to start looking to see if there is a grocery delivery service around here. I tried to talk the local pizza/pasta shop into stocking milk. That way, I could at least get milk by ordering dinner delivery. They didn't go for it.

My post office is a little too friendly. Every time I go and pay for something with debit, Roger always asks me if I want cash back. When I politely refuse, he says if I get cash back he'll split it with me.

... Then I agree, but only if we use his debit card.

It's a routine now.

And they seem like proud kung fu masters when I tell them I have nothing liquid, perishable, fragile, or potentially hazardous; no lithium batteries or perfume, absolving them of the need to ask.

I think that Amazon has a grocery service. You can order on line and they deliver.

I used to be an Amazon queen! Started using Amazon when hubby was sick. I could not leave his side, so I couldn't do any shopping. I was so grateful for Amazon! I needed so many supplies for him!

Funny! Wish mine was friendly. Sounds fun. I'm retired, I don't have

Re 'that question': I always just say 'No' to that question. What happens if you say 'Yes'? Can you still mail the package?

Yeah, they still mail it if you answer yes. They just stamp the package with liquid, or perishable, etc. and I guess they know not to let it end up at the bottom of a stack of mail underneath a cinder block or whatever. Or maybe if it's batteries or perfume, if it flies, they keep it in a pressurized cabin to avoid it exploding and ruining other people's mail. I'm not sure. But yeah, you can pretty much mail anything. The post office just likes to be informed when they're handling anything that warrants special handling.

Cool. Thanks! They ask that question so very 'serious' here. Almost feels like an interrogation. Makes you feel like saying: 'No! It wasn't me! I didn't see anything! I wasn't there! You have the wrong person!". :)

Polishing Q for the peeps that know.

I have very light marks on my traditional top cap from atomizers screwing down. I have some Autosol SS polish and I tried rubbing it by hand. They lightened up even more after doing this but are still visible if you look closely..

I know this is a silly matter but....

Anyone know of a sure fire way to get the atty marks off the top cap?

Not silly! Good luck finding an answer. The adjustable post came in handy when I put the Immortalizer on mine, I'm not taking any chances. My Ti is the only mod I baby, ever. When I'm done with it the atty comes off, the battery comes out, and it goes into its little bag. Still has gotten a scratch or two.
If the marks are too stubborn I'll take it off your hands, I can take the heat. ;)

Mine are scratch and mark free other than the very light marks on the top cap.. And honestly, the marks on the top cap are so minor that they need to be viewed in the right lighting and at the right angle to even see them..

LOL at the last part. :D

But they ain't going nowhere, I lovez them too much...

Maybe I can try a different polish?

I *think* I might have scored a blemished satin Ti tube..

The guy said he was told it's a blemished Ti tube but he doesn't think it is..

It was worth the $40 to see if it is or not..

If it's not, no big deal and if it is then I'd consider it a score!

We shall see..

If you got it from the guy who also had 2 Kicks for sale, i think it is the "blemished".
Just leave a microscopic gap between mod and atty. It is the only way to avoid any marks on the top cap that i know of.
As for removing them without interference to the finish , i think only Super Dave has the means to do it.

Ya that's who I got it from.. He said he does not think it's a blemished Ti because he got it as a free toss in with a purchase he made in the classifieds..

I think it is one but won't know for sure until it arrives to my grubby paws!

Ya I think I will start doing that. I saw snork post a photo elsewhere with his immo raised up a bit..

Cool.. They are very faint and can't really be seen other than by my OCD and I won't bother David with something so minor..

Thanks! :)

I use only cape cod polishing cloths on my watches and it works incredibly on light scratches never tried it on mods or titanium may be you can give it a try.

I have a few of the cape cod cloths left over in a pouch but they have been in there for over a year

Might give them a whirl and see.. The SS Autosol I use makes it look super duper purdy, and did lighten the scratches up a little but I'd rather have then gone and then follow the snork and andrebandre method of leaving a gap after that..

If I can't get them 100% gone it's no big deal as they really can't be seen by anyone or anything other than my OCD. LOL

Thanks!
