Thanks Dimitris!

As a Smoky Mountain Vaper, I was pleased when I received the CASAA alert to the pending legislative hearing in favor of preventing the taxation of e-cigs as tobacco products. 2 days later this my wife screams at me from the other room, "Baby! Come look at this crap!" My head is going through all the possible agendas from whom and for what end regarding the tactical maneuver with this idiotic proclamation.

Jesus wept.

Still rockin' the VPLive VapeTeam Boss mod I won at the Tin Roof! :toast:

Come back to Knoxvegas for another meet. First round's on me! :toast:

I don't know about the younger folks but as someone who was born in the mid 1960s, this whole "we're not sure it's safe" thing just doesn't faze me.

Are they trying to scare me? When I was a kid, no one had to be promised that something was "completely safe." We had red M&Ms, metal roller skates, we didn't wear bike helmets, there were baby cribs with slats the wrong width, and bunk beds you could actually fall out of... I'm sure you've seen the lists... granted some of that was not so great, but at the risk of sounding like an old bat, it really is true. Previous generations didn't wait until something that was regarded as "generally safe if you weren't really stupid" was proven to be "absolutely safe" before we used them.

Is that really where we are now or do you younger folks find it as confusing as I do, to be told you shouldn't use something because it's not proven 100% safe?

I'm not even going to go into why people think any of the "approved" cessation drugs are safe in any way, I think we all know how ridiculous and hypocritical that is.
