The vape shop I went into last week to get some stuff I spoke to there coil builder to try some different builds before I learn how to make them I told him I want to go no lower the. .4 he said ur running VTC4 you can go down to .2 that's what I run in my Sirius box mods all the time he was shocked when I said well 8.4v divided bye .2 is 42 amps don't u think it's irresponsible to tell people it's ok to push 42 amps out of a 30 amp battery

Then someone els chimed in oh I run .15 on mine so long use ur just not chain puffin ur fine I was wow ok have fun with that like I said I will vape at .4 thank you

Got ahold of the shop owner

Our discussion was on "series" mech mods not parallel

Those guys are idiots!
On a series mod you double the battery output, its very dangerous to build that low unless you're going for a Darwin Award :)

I don't know this is how I build .2 seems unsafe on a series box but I don't short plus I'm a deep long hard vaper so my my own safety I like 5amp head room so I don't like to go past 25amps on a series and on a parallel I build to 45-50amps yes I know you can do 60 amps but I just don't push it oh well guess I'm out of line to say something to the owner

My main problem was the coil. Builder was willing to build a .2 coil install it on my rda for my NC if I wanted him 2 and leave the vape shop with it no don't need u to do that I can do it I'm just to try some different coil builds I can't do at .4

Lastly do you build of volt drop I never have?

I don't see why, as amps will drop with volts so as long as you are in your batteries rated amps and don't drain the battery below 3.7 volts you would be fine.

4.2v with .3ohm build= 14 amps
3.7v with .3ohm build= 12.3 amps

I am not a electrician only what I studied but this is my understanding please correct me if I'm wrong
1st I'm talking volt drop from the resistance of the modded it's self I seen some big volt drops in unregulated wired mods.

So you do a volt test and lets just say ur getting 7volts of a 8.4 v mod my understanding ohms and load is still the same to the battery just some volts are lost throw the wiring but my understanding is still calling the same load from the battery
