To Anyone with a Russian 91

To those of you who have used a Russian 91, would you say your e juice tastes the sake, better or worse. I was thinking of buying one but wanted users opinions first.

Most of my juices taste much, much better. The flavor seems to pop out more with the R91 as opposed to the Protank's I was using. I am learning that the build of your wick and coil will affect it also. Ive been playing around with a few different builds for different juices, and so far, for my 70/30 juices Ive found that a 28 ga. 3/32 8 or 9 wrap coil wicked with organic cotton seems to be great for flavor and vapor production. Im still trying to find the best combo for my 50/50 juices. Oz will chime in Im sure, and he is my go to for knowledge on this lol.

I dont do all kinds of builds in mine, but for what it is worth the taste is so much better. Even with my crappy builds. I put in a juice last night that i forgot I had and man it was so much better that i remembered. If i could afford just to have these tanks for every juice i had i would.

It depends on how you build it. And what you're comparing it to. It can taste better or worse than lots of different things. It's an RDA that doesn't come with prebuilt coils, so it's all on you.

Well I just ordered the Russian. I do good making coils for my dripper so I hope I don't have a problem with the Russian. Have watched a lot of YouTube videos on it.

They're real easy to coil. Wicking seems to be the learning curve for most people. Get some cotton. Pull off how much you think you'll need. Take away half of that. Take away a little bit more. You'll still have just a touch too much for your wick.

Ozwald is right on. The coiling is the easy part. I thought wicking would be easy because I used cotton on my dripper, but the dripper isn't depending on the cotton to wick juice up from a tank...it starts drying, you drip more juice and done. With the Russian I was making my wicks with far too much cotton. It is really amazing how little you need to get it to work properly. Now that I have it figured out, I definitely get far more pronounced flavor from my juices, for better (or in one case) for worse.
