So I've had experience with RSSTs, Cobras, AGAs, and what not. And ive preferred them drilled out, to loosen the draw and make fatter clouds. I picked up a Gmfk the other day which is not drilled out and the draw is soo tight. I dont even know how the manufacturer expects you to be able to run quads with such a tiny hole since he intended that it could be used in such a way because of the extra slots for wicks.

So my question is the overall consensus on RBAs to drill them out? or leave them how the manufacturer made them?

Also has anyone drilled out a Gmfk? whats your experience with it drilled?

I think im gonna drill this thing out. Dont worry I wont do it unless I have proper tools, like the grip and vice to hold it in place with a drill press, not gun. I think personally I would be happier with it drilled, but what about you guys? will drilling it out make the price of my Gmfk drop?

it's smart for a manufacturer to keep the holes smaller....better to undersize so the user CAN mod UP...then to oversize with no chance of modding DOWN.

i drilled out my RSST up to a 1/16 hole.

Ooo I see. When I was looking at reviews online for the Gkmf the guy on youtube was saying he doesnt like to drill things out because "thats how the manufacturer intended" us to use it. Which I personally find a bit absurd considering right now my RSST hits soo much better than my Gkmf merely because of the holes.

Lol, some people are like that "purist". That answered your other question too. It may lower resale to that group, but the mod group probably wouldn't mind it drilled.
Edit,
You always risk a lower resale when you mod something.

those darn elitists haha. Im gonna totally drill that thing then. Gettin it done tonight =)

But there is no consensus as to whats better? bigger holes or smaller? I gotta vote for bigger holes
