To dump spent juice, or not to dump spent juice? That is the question.

I'm sure this is going to ruffle up A LOT of feathers, but wanted to get others opinions who have been using AVE juices for a while. I'm currently using a Kanger Protank for my BB and GJ. I just love the BCC's. no dry hits and will use every last drop in the tank. Does anyone dump out their "spent juice" before refilling their tanks, clearos, etc? I'm talking about MAYBE 1/4mL of juice. U know, when the tank gets low and its all dark and mucky (not sure if that's a good way to explain it, but I think u get the point), do u (veteran vapers of AVE only, please) dump out that 1/4 mL and put fresh juice in or do u just vape it til it's gone? I KNOW that this is BLASPHEMOUS.... "How can u dump out that sweet nectar, especially when ppl r going thru withdrawals from their fav AVE juice and can't get any?" I haven't done it yet, but wanted to get others opinions before I made a decision of wheat to do. IMO, u vaped most of the flavoring already (DEFINITELY can be wrong about that) but that can be debated. Just please don't bash me over it. Just trying to find other's opinions. I recall PBusardo calling BB a thick goo that is probably spent juice, in some review of a clearo or tank or whatever. That's almost verbatim, but didn't want to try to find the video he said it in to quote him exactly.

So what do u all think? I have a nice little stash of BB and GJ, so dumping a 1/4mL, if that, every now and then is no big deal to me, ATM. LOL! It will be a big deal when I'm close to running out and I'm kicking myself for dumping that juice out to put fresh juice in. Lol! AGAIN, I HAVE NOT done this yet, so don't crucify me over it. Do u hardcore AVE vapers vape the tank til it's all the way gone? Do u dump out the "spent juice" and refill with fresh juice? Or do u just add fresh juice to that dark, thick juice that's still left in the tank? Please help cuz I don't know what I want to do. Obviously, I want fresh juice in my tank at all times, but maybe someone will say that the "spent juice" gives it more flavoring, for some reason. Let me know your opinions on this matter, please! I think I will get a lot of replies to this with everyone having different opinions, which is ok, and why they do it. So please, again, hardcore AVE vapers, let me know what u do and y u do it. Thank u VERY much in advance. And sorry for the long post. Had a lot to say. Keep fighting the good fight and stay off those nasty cigarettes!

I just go based on the taste. If its dark but it still tastes good, I leave it in there and just refill. But if its starting to taste ashy or burnt then ill dump it. Copper creek house blend in a genesis always taste crappy toward the bottom of the tank so I almost always dump it. Bb and gj aren't as bad.

In murica, we're wasteful. Yes I dump what I don't want. Never saw the justification of trying to save the unwanted. Syringing it out a putting it back in the source would contaminate the fresh stuff and I'm not gonna use empty bottles to collect insignificant quantities.

Plus, if I run out, I have good reason for new juices.

Sent from my mind while out and about.

Thanks for the response. I really need to get a genesis-style atomizer and a dripper. Maybe I'll put up something in the classifieds about trading for those for some AVE juice. We'll see. I definitely want to try my hand in genesis-style tho. But I don't need a $150 genny, ATM. Need to crawl before u can walk. Again, thanks for the response, Jshill!

I see exactly what u r saying. Especially, syringed it out and contaminating the juice. Makes sense. Thanks for the response!!!

So what do u all think?

It's yours to do with as you please. :)

Life is too short to vape spent juice. However, maybe keep a bottle somewhere to put it in for desperation times?

For me, I don't like transferring and re-transferring juice that will go into my lungs....it's sort of a hygiene thing. I think juice should stay in the bottle then go into your delivery device, and then into your lungs........and that there should be no further 'trips' after that.

I agree, totally. I should have enough juice to not worry about saving it ;) Now if I only had a small quantity, that might be a BRILLIANT idea. What I'm getting so far is to just dump out that 1/4mL and start fresh. Sound about right, all?

Yeah man no problem. I would check out clouds of vapor and maybe look at an aga t2 or something similar. They are cheap and work just as good as the expensive ones. Now if I could find a good clearo for my wife I would be happy. Does something like the pro tank wick vg pretty good?

Protank has no problems wicking the 100% VG but if u want to go a little cheaper, go with the evod. Wicking is good, too. Haven't had a single problem on either device with 100% VG. They just need cleaned and dry burned more often. That's the only downfall, but I think that would be for any clearo running 100% VG. Make sure to buy a package of heads. I rewick mine, but there's times when I'm just too darn lazy to do it. Lol. U can get em for $1.50/piece and I've seen em for around $7/5pk of heads.

We have exact similar habits! HB does get nasty at the bottom (besides completey wrecking the coils :( ). Sucks cause it is good too. So glad I found BB because of this.

With BB I tend to find that bottom little bit sometimes is the best. Ill refill and leave it or try to suck it all out!

The only time ive notice it not being so hot is if I left the protank in the car on our hot (understatement) FL days for more than a couple hours. I have dumped the last little morsels after doing this because it was, as Jshill520 said, burnt tasting. I think all that heat does something too most juices that's not particular good for them.

Or get em in the co-op for ridiculously less and not even bother....just toss em in a jar for a rainy day. One going on now with protanks and heads.

Agree with The Don Mega, VG is fine in the protanks\evods for me too. I haven't had to alter anything. Only thing I do is rinse the wick on a fresh tank to get the built up gunk on the end pieces off of the wick. I seem to have less problems this way. Then dry burn when coils needed.

I keep a separate container for the leftovers. We call it the "mystery mix" because it's got a huge variety of flavors in it. Some days it tastes great and I'll drip it in the evening, and some days it's got too much of a certain flavor and I've got to leave it alone. But it's always different every time I try it.

Tried this once and all I tasted was the bacon juice I put in it. Had to toss that stash and never tried again. And I live bacon too :(

Awesome I'll definitely try them out thanks! I used to use vivi novas and I hated them with Boba's. hopefully this will be much better.

Yeah I think the crud comes off the coil and goes in the tank or something. It's crazy house blend will get so dark in the bottle. It's almost a light caramel when you get it and in a matter if days it gets really dark. Lol then when you put it in a tank it turns black!

Totally agree with the bottom bit for this reason. The best taste/flavor hands-down I have ever had was the very bottom of the juice with BB. It only tasted THAT good once, for me. It was SOOOO smooth and great tasting, that I've been trying and trying to get that flavor again. Only got it one or two more times, but not like that first time. Lol! Like I'm talking about losing my virginity or something. Haha. Don't know y it doesn't do it all the time, but I can recall, vividly, laying in bed vaping BB and thinking, this is the best flavor I have ever tasted. It's great when u get those 10 hits that are pure heaven. Everything seems to align just perfectly and there's nothing like it. Wish it was like that all the time. Now that would be vaping heaven. Lol. :vapor:

I almost hate to admit it because I really like hb fresh, but I have a 120 with about 20-30ml in it and its black as night. I dont think it tastes good and will probably go to waste. I wont ever buy that big a bottle again because of this. I think it changes to drastically for some reason. I Like it fresh out of the mail. Its got me wondering if air is the cause as the bottle seems to allow for a little too much squeezing with cap sealed.

Main reason why I was moving to Ave was these issues. Had to find a ADV with less hassle. It may not be hassle free, but its certainly LESS hassle for sure.

Ordering some nice array of sizes boston rounds with polycones to prevent this from "possibly" happening to anything else. Id rather clean the dripper than toss the juice.

I have had the exact same vaping heaven with BB bottom. You almost fiend for another round of that :)
