...of Humble Pie.
To refresh reader's memories, I posted a thread back in August saying;
Whilst not exactly disgruntled by Snow's remarks, I was not particularly 'gruntled', either.
And now to that humble pie...
I've run out of blank Wow carts, the ones I have need replacing or serious cleaning. As I kill about 95% of those I clean, I'd replace them, but V4L are out of black & gold (and anything else ruins my colour scheme). Our dear friend Wader advised new supplies might be a while away, so
I decided to try some non-V4L cartos I'd thrown in with an order from (gasp)someone else.
They're aluminium or some sort of metal, so I don't like the metallic taste. I thought; aha, put that drip tip on. Of course then it all looked & felt unbalanced with a diamond shorty, so I fished out my diamond regular lengths that'd been languishing in a drawer since I made that original post.
(yes I am getting to it, be patient, readers) It was good. Really good - with all the increased flavour & vapour everyone talks about. And even the plain metal carto didn't get hot. And now I just keep refilling these cartos & recharging the regular diamond batts.
So what has Katz learned here, gentle readers?
My truth may indeed be true for me and not for you, (which doesn't mean either of us is right or wrong) but my truth may vary from one day to the next (- does that make me right & wrong?
) That I ought to be less strident in my assertions, until I am certain of my facts.
And so, to Snowdragon (+ Morandir, and others who good-naturedly put up with my unscientific, opinionated assertions), an offering of a slice;

Out of curiosity, I decided to order 2 x regular length diamond batteries instead of my usual diamond shorties. I am very grateful that I also decided to order a couple of delrin drip tips too!
I could not believe the difference with the regular length batteries. No wonder people recommend the drip tips, the darned carts would be unusable without them. those things burnPut the same cart on a shorty, no problems.
Drip tips? Another area of curiosity for me. Meh. Apart from saving my lips, I can live without them. Didn't give me more flavour, TH or vapour, that I could detect anyway.
I also wondered whether my assertion that 1 x shorty diamond charge = 1 x wow cart was correct, or whether I'd get more mileage from a regular diamond. Maybe, but not completely. I could taste a drop off in flavour well before the battery flashed, though no burnt taste. I think I'll continue to swap cart at the same time as battery.
Yeah, I think I'll stick with the Diamond Shorties from now on

If you were anyone else I would simply state that all batteries hold the same voltages and the size will never dictate the performance of the Cartos. But we both know that will mean nothing to you, you feel how you feel, and if those feelings fly in the face of scientific logic.....whatever!
