My wife had the same problems with her first e-cig. She's really sensitive as well. I thought it was because she was sensitive to the PG, but that wasn't the case at all it seems. Like adrenalynn mentioned, it's the acclimation period. It's a whole new learning process. If you vape like you smoke analogs, it's not the same.

After the first day, I encouraged her to stick with it. Now, she vapes normally and there's no problem. :)

Right on Drac,

If anyone gives vaping an honest chance they will without a doubt have no problem quitting the analogs and vaping exclusively. It's only been three days and I'm done with analogs! That is miraculous my friend, simply amazing! If the hardware turns out to be more reliable then in the past (from everything I've read it gets better every few months) vaping will destroy the corporate/government tobacco cabal, freeing millions of people from heart disease, emphysema, and every other negative associated with smoking analog cigarettes.

Kui - this is the Vapor4Life subfora. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of where in the forum one is. I know I wouldn't appreciate having other vendors advertised in my subfora and it opens up the risk of it just becoming common place for all the vendors.

Adrenalynn,
My fault really ...I did ask about other suppliers since V4L just does not have a great supply of VG ...I would hate to step out on Steve and the gang ...but it would be a short affair if I did... Just need to keep all my options open till I get the X switched over to a PV .... if I should end up having to start her off with VG I am fairly confident that I could work her back into the PG (unless she is actually one of the few that are sensitive/ allergic to PG)...then V4L all the way .... I am sure Steve would forgive me for the slight indiscretion... Once !...lol

Thank you, everyone, for the help...Im going to give the low nic. level PG another try before I jump to the VG

Had a visit to my dermatologist today. She's cool and always seems current. One thing I asked her about were the little bumps in places on my scalp since I stopped smoking, started vaping. Is it a rash? PG allergy?

She smiled and told me how many changes she sees when people quit smoking cigs. One reason, she suspects, is that hands begin to fidget during the early no-cig months. People scratch more and the body's balance changes. My increased water and daily vits may also play a role. Well, she told me not to worry. She also suggested a milder shampoo. So Vape On!

Jeffree - acne is also common as the body excretes the toxins that have accumulated over time. I had _really_ bad acne as a teen - in fact, I ended-up having my skin lasered to get rid of a lot of the scaring as an adult. The point being that I've been seeing a fair bit of acne myself. Not as bad as my teenage years, but worse than I'd expect anywhere in my normal monthly cycle by a long shot. Something to be aware of... It's pretty "common knowledge" that this occurs.

I was surprized, but a few people did learn of a sensitivity to PG. But this is mostly in the health subforum up above. Just briefly, though, I thought if while getting a milder shampoo, simply find one without PG (aslo deodorant, conditioner, soap, hand sanitizer, and toothpaste) may help the body now that vaping is a recently new item for the body. I wonder if this would balance the situation better?

 My sincerest apologies. It is hard to keep track of which forum I'm posting in and I need to pay more attention. I think a PM to the OP would have been much better. Sorry again, V4L ROCKS btw!

Kui - no big! As I mentioned - hard to keep track. ECF is a big confusing place, for sure. I get lost here all the time.

Laz - head over to pubmed and search on scalp toxins and you can read to your heart's content. I was reading a paper a few years ago about them digging up someone famous after hundreds of years and proving his murder by the arsenic still in his hair... I'm too tired at the moment to recall the details. Maybe after my customary hour or two of sleep.
