LF has *alot* more tobacco flavors than I'm used to seeing with other vendors.

I'm hoping I can find a good "analogue" (pun intended) for a Parliment ciggy. I tried some other vendors prefilled cartos and the flavor wasn't too bad, but I'd sure like to just make my own with LF stuff.

Also had a question about steeping... with these FA flavors, how long are you all allowing the juice to steep before you start using it?

Are these flavors good to use w/o tobacco absolute?

I usually only mix about 3-4% (a bit on the heavy side for 'baccy I know) with a decent 24mg 80/20 nic liquid, has worked pretty well so far, would that percentage be good with these FA flavors?

Thanks so much in advance, I truly value your input.

don't get me wrong, I'm not upset or anything (far from it, as there are lots of choices). Was suprised nobody had any opinions right off, but then I did just spend a few hours in the new members section of the forum answering questions, the traffic there is almost more than I can keep up with.

Hope my attempts to stay upbeat aren't grating on anybody. :)

Yup... and then there's those of us that don't like 'bacco flavors ;)

:) part of my "research" into this area is so that I can feel reasonably knowlegeable talking to prospective vapers about switching to PVs. Every single newbie I've talked to asks me about tobacco flavors (just as I did).

Most places have "tobacco #1", USA blend, neuport, etc but very few have ten, much less fifteen flavors for DIY. The one striking omission I saw was a spicy "Parliment" type, which is what prompted my initial question.

Figured if I have a variety I could mix up some for others to sample. I've got all the rest of the DIY equipment (right down to the nitrile gloves and safety glasses) :)

dunno about you guys, but here in central Iowa, I don't know any other vapers personally, only online. As sparse as it is out here I need good ammo to snag as many ppl as possible. And I've downloaded your PDF, printed out a few copies that I keep in the car to hand out to those that are truly interested (EXCELLENT WORK btw).

I have been researching DIY for awhile now. I am one of those people who have to learn quite a bit about something before I make the jump. I've read that with FA you do Not want get heavy handed on the flavoring. More flavor with FA seems to diminish the flavor and/or make it taste 'off'.

As far as steeping handcrafted juices - I can only tell you what I do. I taste test them the day they arrive. 99% of them get put into a box in my closet where they sit for 7 to 14 days. Then I taste test them again. If I think they are ready, I start to use them. If not, they go back to the box for another week or so.

It is recommended you store your juices in a cool, dark place. Keep them away from sunlight as much as possible. They do not recommend you leave your juice stash in your car.

Juices that are not mixed to order (handcrafted) seem to be pretty well steeped by the time you get them. These are mixed in larger batches, bottled, and put into inventory. So they've had their steeping time before they reach your mailbox.

For a short time, I was keeping my juice stash in the frig. I live in Arizona (hot). Then I read that when you take your juices out of the frig, you are going to deal with condensation. Do this enough times, and you might notice your juices taste different. That made sense to me :). I no longer store my juices in the frig.

Nicotine e-juice can be frozen for quite awhile. Check out the DIY forum here at ECF.
Hope this helps answer a couple of your questions about FA / diy.

Happy Vaping,
Paula

Awww... thanks for the compliment... again, I'm glad its being used & helpful! I actually handed out a few at work last week - two to our employee benefits reps that were there offering us available dental, vision & an additional term life package. When he stopped by my office, he commented about the 3 eGos on my desk... of course I had to demonstrate. Then, later during my actual appointment to speak with them, 90% of the conversation was PV-related. He also handed me the rate sheet for the NON-smoker rates (altho' I know very well, eventually they'd do a test or something and I'd fail because I still use nicotine). I didn't plan on purchasing anyway, I prefer to be worth much more alive than dead... reduces that temptation for hubby...

I didn't know I could do both. I will tackle that project in the morning. Thank you for telling me this. A small group of us have been promoting our Phoenix Vaper Meetup group. We meet monthly and figured it was a good idea to get something into our signatures. I've only have this a few days and I don't think it has done any good (yet).

I gave one of your flyers to a lady tonight. She is in her 70's, has had cancer twice and beat it both times. Smokes for 45+ yrs and quit. But she is worried sick about her daughter who smokes. I whipped out that brochure and gave it to her. She got tears in her eyes, said thank you and gave me a big hug. It almost brought me to tears !! I did not know this lady. She was a complete stranger I met this evening at the casino and she was curious about my pv.

You've done a good thing with your brochure. It is helping people and giving people the option of improving their life. Thank you for all your hard work on the brochure. It really really is making a difference in people's lives.

I have been vaping for about 6 months and after 3 months gave up on finding a great tobacco flavor. I found a couple that I liked but they were still lacking. I just received my first ego from LF. The plain tobacco flavor that came with the kit is Da Bomb. I have said for several months I will not buy any new juices to try and well, I got my ego and tobacco carts about 30 minutes ago and I just placed another order. I bought the tobacco flavor, hotel and the usa mix. I figure if their just plain tobacco is this good the others are probably great too. Anyhow hope this helps. I smoke marlboro light 100's and honestly, I think I may just found the juice to get me completely off these nasty real cigs.

My error, sorry but Abe just advised me the stuff that came with my kit is possibley joye marlboro. I will post and let ya know my opinion of the LF tobaccos that I ordered though. I think I am probably the most picky tobacco person, lol. Anyhow just wanted to let ya'll know what I just found out.

Wishing you all the best, Canchaser. Let us know how we can help.

There is a section in ECF for sale / swap / trade. Members frequently sell off their juice stash as very low prices.
We also have a PIF section in ECF. That is swap program.
Both places are good sources for 'right priced' juices and a good way to find juices you might like.
