I'm not a huge tobacco vape person but I vape so much fruit that I need a juice or two that are truly different from my normal fare to break it up. However, I'm a little out of my depth with tobacco flavorings.

I really love FA's Cowboy; I think it's the same tobacco flavoring (or VERY similar) Mister e-liquid uses/used in their Red Rider, which was always one of my favorite tobacco juices. I made a passable liquid using the Cowboy and a titch of vanilla, caramel, AP, and smooth but it's a little funky.

The Desert Ship is coming in the next order so I really have no idea what it tastes like, but I know it's popular.

Anywho, I was hoping someone could give any advice on using tobaccos in liquid in general. What you mix them with, usual steep time, are there any that are passable for shake and vape, etc. Anything that might be helpful that you're willing to share.

Thanks!

I have no problem letting things mature; I make a few fruit and cream mixes that I always give time so it's no big deal... mostly just curious if any tobaccos were good fresh, so thanks for the input. I don't tend to love Hangsen but INW is fine for sure.

I should have specified, this is FA's Desert Ship, not Hangsen... but I'll still take a look at that thread and see if there's any help in there.

SC Black & Mild and Hangsen Arabic are both very shake-and-vapeable. Those two are so tasty for me that the idea of adding anything else to them is like blasphemy.

All of the "For Pipe" Inaweras are also good fresh off the scale, the lone exception being Black Cherry for Pipe. The cherry in that flavor is a bit of a stubborn mule. Freshly mixed, it's cloyingly sweet, though seems to calm down after an overnight air, but boy does my airing out drawer now smell permanently of it. I like it, just can't handle more than a few drips of it at a time. My first batch of it at 5% was overpoweringly strong. 2% seems about right though still pretty potent. It does seem to play well with (very small amounts of) TFA Bittersweet Chocolate Extra.

Haven't done much mixing with tobaccos yet, other than TFA Caramel Original (the "evil" caramel, not the nasty-to-me DX) and the aforementioned chocolate. I tend to view tobaccos with a single flavor eye. Not sure why that is. I either like a given tobacco or I don't, and tend to move on from those I don't like rather than try to mix them into likeable-ness. There are so many tobaccos that are great single flavors that it's difficult for me to envision how I'd improve upon them.
