First: Welcome to ECF! I hope that this is just the first of many posts by you.

The short answer to your question is that you are going to have to discover that for yourself.:( That is, if you post your question in the General E-Smoking Discussion or New Members' forum (and there is no reason you shouldn't do so)*, you will get dozens of different answers.

* As you may know, you'll have to wait until you've got 15 posts under your belt before you can start a thread in the General forum, but you can post a reply there (and in most forums) and start a thread in the New Members forum.

During your journey of discovery, I predict you will find that you don't want your vaping to taste just like a cigarette. Most of us find that vaping tastes much better.

[A few weeks ago, due to poor planning, I found myself without a charged backup battery during the workday. Since I am addicted to nicotine, I ran out to a convenience store and bought a pack of cancer sticks. I lit one up and it tasted terrible. I couldn't even finish it. NOTE: I was not a smoking virgin: I had smoked happily, if not healthily, for 40 years.]

You have to start somewhere, so why not start with the same "brand" you used to smoke? For example, Marlboro (however it is deliberately misspelled), Menthol, Winston, Kent, Camel, Parliament, Dunhill, Bensen & Hedges, etc. Or simply go with Marlboro - you'll find it everywhere (it's probably in the carts that came with your starter kit). You may want to give Flue Cured a try (don't worry, there's no H1N1 in it;)). Many people say it tastes most like tobacco. However your taste buds may completely disagree.

And consider some of the flavor enhanced tobacco juices - e.g., RY4, Hilton, 555, TAB (not the predecessor to Diet Coke), etc. - or Cuban Cigar or French Pipe.

And then there are the wonders of all the flavors that don't even pretend to taste like a cigarette: from Chocolate to Kung Pau Chicken. For more on all this (including links to some of the least expensive sources), check out the WWV Illustrated Guide linked in my signature and stickied at the top of the New Members forum: especially Part 3, second half of Part 5, and the middle of Part 6 ... and read/watch reviews in the E-Liquid Reviews and Video-Reviews forums.

Enjoy your exploration of this wonderful world, Heather!
