Howdy all,

Been vaping for awhile, but just started the DIY adventure a few months ago. These forums have really helped out, thanks so much.

I am currently attempting to clone a vendor's tobacco a need a little help...

Can you all share with me any tobacco flavorings/concentrates that you have tried that are dark in color (before mixing)? I know this is a rather odd question, but i have tried over 20 different tobacco flavorings and the majority of them are very light to slightly yellow in color (with the exception of an absolute). That said, I am hot on the trail and have figured out a couple of the flavors he's using, but my end product is still lacking and is pail yellow in color (the vendors original is orange colored). The note I seem to be missing is a bold, nutty one - perhaps a dark 555? What dark colored tobaccos are you aware of?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

The Vendor may be using a NET ( naturally extracted tobacco ) in which case you would have to go by flavor. Latakia and Perique tobaccos are very dark if extracted where the lab made flavors are clear. It would be easier if you at least told us the name of the liquid. It's not against the forum rules to name the Vendor.

A bold and nutty tobacco could be DK, English or AP ( acetyl pyrazine ) was added.

Djarum is usually dark form most vendors, it is a spicy clove tobacco flavor and many of the tobaccos form ........... are dark (especially the no US cig flavors) but, there you would be ordering direct form china so, shipping costs and time are a bit more and, it is made in China stuff that is more chemical tasting that US made flavors in general.

Thanks for mentioning that - I was a little iffy. It is Vapor Leaf's Denver Dusk - tasty stuff. Some folks love it, others not so much but I think its wonderful!

And thanks for the replies all - Hangsen remains the only manufacturer I have not yet tried (figures, right?).

Hangsen makes some of the best tobacco and non tobacco concentrates on the market- check out our Hangsen thread, we go over different flavors and places you can buy the concentrates
