New to DIY, loving it and this forum so far! I love tobacco flavors and have been experimenting then it occurred to me that you folks have already done that. I have searched and read the forum but looking for more current stuff.

I love pipe type flavors best but all tobacco flavors are good. What I'm looking for is your absolute favorite/ADV if not most of the time, not eh, it's pretty good etc. Thanks a ton, I know my new favorite is out there, please share!

Hangsen Desert Ship @ 7% + 1.5% AP + 1% EM. I can vape a 30ml bottle start to finish without changing

TFA Black Honey tobacco @ 8-9% (must steep for 3-4 weeks). Not exactly a tobacco flavor but pretty awesome.

Hangsen Indian @ 6% + 1% AP + 1.5% EM.

Hangsen TAB @ 7% + 5% TFA Double Ry4. I have a small army chasing me to mix this for them. It's on the sweeter side but pretty awesome

Ok, get your pocketbook out...everyone has different taste...me, I like Hangsen tobaccos. Are there others I may like just as well, probably...but what I have is working for me...plus you can mix several tobacco blends from the same or different manufacturers and create a unique blend not to mention all the variations of flavors that can be used with tobacco flavors...such as vanilla, caramel, marshmallow, coconut...etc, etc....

Thanks Bob, funny, I mixed 7% Black honey yesterday, nothing else in it. Of course I had to try it even though I knew it needs a couple of weeks, hoping it's as good as I think it will be.

Just ordered Desert Ship, TAB, 2x Ry4 and Indian, gonna try all of the above, thanks!

and Blueser, as you can see the wallet is open :)

I don't like sweet juices. Or tobacco with vanilla or other flavorings. What works great for me (no steeping required) is Hangsen Red Usa Mix, 7-10% (great cigarette flavor) or CIGAR, from Tobacco Blends (same, 7-10%-very close to Cigar).

No tobacco flavors from TFA or Flavourart have worked for me, however Hangsen and Tobacco Blends are so good. Maybe because they use real tobacco extracts in their flavors?

My tobacco recipe I've whipped up over 3 years ago and haven't changed much is:

First I mix up a 120ml bottle of plain 70%VG/30%PG nicotine juice, I started vaping at 36mg. (4-5 years ago). But now as an endeavor to eliminate my nicotine addiction altogether, I have been ever so slowly reducing my nicotine levels and currently Vape. 6mg.

Then to that 120ml bottle I add:

80 drops of Maxx Blend Tobacco by FlavourArt
50 drops of Desert Ship Tobacco by FlavourArt
20 drops of Cuban Supreme Tobacco by FlavourArt
20-40 drops of 10% Ethyl Maltol pg mix. Sometimes I like a sweeter perception in my juice.
10 drops of MTS Vape Wizard by FlavourArt

My best guess as to what exactly a drop measures out to is 23 drops = 1ml. YMMV.

Then steep it for 3-4 weeks or power steep it in a hot bath ultrasonic cleaner for a few days.

That 120ml. bottle lasts me a month -/+ and Its been my all day Vape. For a wile now.

I hope you like it.

BOB CHILL for President! This post should be sticky just because it's what all the tobacco lovers are looking for after they order M-Type, Red and are disappointed. I made all of the above but didn't have any AP. Been vaping them for several days without it and they were good. Then the AP came in. Absolute magic, my search is over for tobacco recipes, the above 4 above will keep me happy for a looooong time. Thanks again Bob! Awesomeness in 4 bottles!

With hangsen it's a perfect example of less is more. I'm stoked you like those blends. I love them too. Black honey really takes over 4 weeks to get right. Just set it aside and wait. It's an unusual flavor. Hard to put a finger on. I get some sort of honey + spiced tea flavor out of it.

Flue Cured and Magic Mix fit the same lighter/slightly sweet profile. Highway is another great one. It's a bit nutty and full tobacco flavor on it's own. Go easy on AP or skip it with all together. I like a touch of EM in all my tobaccos. It's a personal thing. Some don't like it at all.

Overall, my current fave is the Desert Ship mix. There's something really addicting about it.

Excellent, give me a few weeks to be ready for more recipes, too busy enjoying these. The Indian was my least favorite, it was just real good haha. I'm loving the Desert ship as well. The black honey gets better every day, lovin it. I mixed a fresh 120ml batch today and after a few wizzes with the milk frother and sitting in the open air in a ball jar for 3 hours, it's BETTER than any store bought I've had. It's 3 hours old and I filled the tank. I'm bad, I know.

Thanks again and again for these.

What PG/VG ratio do you usually shoot for with your mixes? I've recently found myself VG heavy. Think that will work ok with these recipes?

I just ordered everything I needed to give all of these a try. Anyone who is interested can get everything on the list from RTSVapes with the exception of the AP and EM. I picked those up at The Perfumers Apprentice.

My ADV tobacco flavor is simple:

TFA 555 Type - DK Tobacco 7%
AP 1%..........mixed as 60pg/40vg @ 4mg nic

I find this to be a very clean tobacco flavor with nutty undertones. IMO it needs nothing else, i.e. EM, Smooth, Vape Wizard, etc. I'm very sensitive to harshness and heavy throat hits and this is a nice, smooth taste.

2 hrs in the UC and 3 days in a dark cabinet and it's ready. I make it 60mls at a time, lasts about 2 weeks, with my other juices in rotation. I use this more than anything else, although I switch off to 3-6 different flavors per day.

I'm 50/50 and 10-12mg on all my blends. 7% is the high end on HS tobaccos. If you are heavy VG it would probably be fine @ 7% with most flavors.

I just picked up some HS vanilla and mixed ry1 @ 7% + 2% vanilla. Haven't tried it yet but from what Danny has said, 2% vanilla works very well and anything more can overpower.

I give Danny credit for my success. His posts in the hangsen thread were extremely helpful and made it pretty easy for me to hit the right notes.
