If you mix your own tobacco flavors, you have probably tried adding top-note flavors (if I am using the term correctly).

I love the flavorings from Perfumer's Apprentice, so I recently stocked up on tobacco Absolute and some of their other tobacco flavors. I also bought some flavors to use as enhancements. I bought toasted Almond, a few different Chocolates, Ethyl Maltol, Caramel, Bacon, etc.

I LOVE the slight toasty flavor I get by adding a few drops of toasted almond. I bought the Bacon flavor to use sparingly to add smokiness. I also ordered a sample of Chestnut.

Just curious if anyone has tried similar flavoring experiments and what your recipes are.

I actually thought this was about Seedman -- they have a line called Top Note flavorings that actually makes a good base flavor :)

I use Seedman Top Note Commercial concentrate at 15%, plus 4 drops of PA "TA diluted" (with PGA) per 10 ml for my tob4 -- a strong "want a cigarette" vape.

Cut the TA down to 2 drops per 10 ml, and add Hazelnut at about 3% and that's my tob5 -- a really mellow all-day vape. (turns out I actually like VaporRenu's Hazelnut pre-mixed stuff -- I use 30% of that in a DIY, plus the 15% commercial and couple drops of TA diluted).

PA Kona is interesting, haven't quite got that down. Seems like a nice top note flavoring for a normal Coffee and Vanilla mix, couple drops per 10 ml (like TA).
