Finally got this bad boy set up, im lovin it so far. Think I may go lower next time though. 28g .5 ohms. Smooth criminal.

Checked this out in a local shop intending to walk out with one and I passed. The 510 threads were crunchy, and the post seemed way too long. I like the removable top cap for direct dripping, but you can buy a patriot cap that does that and you have basically the same atty.

Yeah I broke down and got this one. I like it, were you looking at the v1 or the v2? Cause I know the 510 was changed for the 2nd version.

V2 is also slightly shorter. It is similar to the patriot but the heat sinks are way crazy. Someone in another thread described it as a patriot on steroids.

Patriot on steroids lol thats great. I wish I could get a brass top cap for mine, but I dont think that'll be happening anytime soon.

It was a V2. I asked the guy at the shop, "hmm... is this thing that great?" He kinda looked at me with an "i dont get the hype about this thing" look.

Dont get me wrong, seems like a good decent Atty. Just dont understand the buzz behind it.

Low ohms, big kanthal...there's a reason it can fit 4 strands of 22g kanthal

ok...i seemed to have resolved my heat issue...if your coil is too close to the AFC tab on the base, the cap will get extremely hot

hey guys. I love this atty. i use 24g dual coil aboout 8 wraps at 0.25 ohms. the way it is designed defintely releases heat. my enigma rda burns me at 0.25 ohms. its a great atty amd worth every penny

Does the 24 gauge fit good through the holes in the posts? Ive been wanting to get some thicker wire other then 28g, as of now all I can do it twist it, which isnt bad but I just want more options.

Yes they do I heard the TOBH can even handle 22 gauge wire

Awesome, thank you. I think I will either get 22 or 24 gauge. I dont think 26g will cut it for me.

Yeah well i'm running dual coil micro coil build with beast wire 26g and it's reading .3 ohms even with that set up I don't open it all the way up I have only 2 holes open on each side, I think I need to go to around .2 ohms to really enjoy it fully open

Since then I trimmed the top wick real close instead of tucking it down
