TOBH V2 clone vape taste weird

Washed the clone with soap and soaked it in a good below boiling water temperature.

Vaped it a few times, probably 20 drags and suddenly a weird taste pops up. The closest I can describe it is oil-like of some sort.

Anyone has experienced this despite after washing it? May apply with other RDAs as well.

Most likely the machine oil hasn't been washed out. Try washing it out with dishwashing soap a few more times and see what happens. Make sure each part is thoroughly washed; screws, anything and everything that can be taken apart.

A ultrasonic cleaner will do a better job.

That's usually how I wash my equipments.

Ah.. probably will try to get one in the future. However, I tried washing it and soaking it again.. the taste no longer there. But after chain vaping about 10 times, the taste comes back again unless I saturate the cotton again and let it cool down.
