Got my order in for the polished mini right when they updated the page to "in stock". It took a maximum of ~10 seconds to place the entire order. 
After that, I went to Cigtechs and ordered 2 Tatroe rings to allow for 18650s. Now you all don't have to read my whining and complaining about not having a polished Provari anymore. Yay!

I can't even whine about that since last night I got the V1 chrome version, but the beauty rings and niceties will have to wait till after Christmas.
I just checked my finances...no ProVari - shiny, bwonze, or otherwise - for me anytime soon.

I'm happy for everyone who wanted one and got one. And sad for those who wanted one, but didn't ...for now.
The ss is going to be a standard item. It's not like they won't have regular stock, although the runs might be limited at first.

I'd very much like it to be. I recently ordered batteries (2x-18350 & 2x-18490) in preparation for a mini; RTD was OOS in 18490s for a bit, so I ordered as soon as I got the notice they were back.
At least it's stainless & not chrome. Just wipe em off, take the photo & put some new ones on. No long term damage.
Down in the ProVari sub-forum there are instructions on taking care of the finish.
I'm not worried about it, just pointing out that it's not really a big deal if it's a fingerprint magnet or not. I enjoy reading about metallurgy, especially when it's stuff that I use in the brewery - different grades of stainless, copper, brass, aluminum (well not aluminum anymore, but I still read up on it to help others in the brewing forums), etc. That's why I love brewing so much. If you're doing it right you're studying microbiology, multiple disciplines of chemistry, metallurgy, fluid dynamics, agriculture... the list goes on and on and on. Always something new to geek out about.
placed my order for the ss with green led at 3 yesterday, and it shipped out yesterday and am expecting delivery tomorrow! :]

I hope they include this with their starter kit. If no one close to me is generous to get me this for my birthday (both father and fiance think spending $200 for an electronic vaping device is ridiculous, they just don't understand), I'd want to buy the starter kit since this will be my first ProVari.
You can get any color with the kit. It's just a $20 upgrade for anything except satin silver.
Polished stainless steel is not available in the drop down for color options.
