Well,

Today is the day for me to not smoke any analogs! I had two this morning and that is it...

I sure hope I can do this! Hopefully, this will be the start of a long - smoke - free - journey!

Here we go....

You go Ray...!!!

I amazed myself in my own effort and now it truly is a journey in vaping ..!!!

You can do it RockinRay! If you feel like you might want an analog come here and we'll talk you down :)

Best thing you can do is not put pressure on yourself. If you truly need an analog its not the end of the world. It took me awhile to kick the habit while I was vaping. Naturally I just sort of migrated to vaping Exclusively on March 22nd, 2012, but I had been vaping for a bit.

Congrats and Good luck! It doesn't have to be an abrupt change. When I got my first kit, I still had a pack of smokes on hand. I went back and forth between the two for the first week, smoking half the pack in that time, vaping the rest of the time.

By the end of week one, I PREFERRED vaping over smoking. I still have that half pack of smokes, just in case, but haven't touched it since the end of week one.

Everyone is different, but it's not a big deal to go back and forth until you KNOW you prefer vaping. Sometimes, we just have to experiment both sides before deciding to vape exclusively. It's a gradual process for most, so keep that in mind.

Congratuations and the Best of Luck to both Ray and Rob!

Just take it one craving at a time, one day at a time.

If I can do it, anyone can. I am a bit ahead of both of you, and I am still taking it one craving at a time, one day at a time.

Can tell you it does it easier after the first week to ten days.

Come to the ECF for support, great bunch of people here, always someone here to cheer you on and understand where you are coming from. I wouldn't be into day 20 smoke free without them. :)

Thanks Blue! So far so good. Going on about 8 hours analog free. *happy dance* EDIT: I guess I should look at my own banner. 11 hours not 8. Time flies when your having so much fun vaping. :)

Ray, the Volt is the first E-Cig I've owned besides the cheapo's from the gas station. I'm getting a much better hit and a lot more vapor from my Volt than I ever did from the cheapo's. I'm really enjoying it too!

That's great Rob!

I know I was and still am so excited by the first 24 hours that I did not smoke. It is a great feeling body, mind and spirit.

I have had my ups and downs in my vaping quest. Not my first attempt, but beginning to feel this will be the sucessful one. :)

Just keep thinking and acting positively. Keep busy doing things you enjoy. Be good to yourself, and take one hour at a time if you need.

I truly wish you all the best. Keep up the great work.

You can do this! :)

Thanks for the encouragement. This forum is a great asset for someone trying to kick the nasty habit. I've hit my 24 hour mark of analog free and I am really proud of myself for getting there, one hour, one day at a time. :)
