Started with a overpriced no name 510 kit and have moved on to an ego. I'm thinking of taking the plunge to a mod next and/or build one myself. Any advice is welcome. If I had found this site first I could have saved a lot of money.

Welcome Jdsgibson! There are so many mods to choose from that I wouldn't know where to start. What do you have in mind? Do you want some boxy or tube style, variable voltage, slim, fat, able to handle 6v etc.....
Congrats! I started with a 510 and moved on to the ego as well. I have a 5v and 3.7 bottem feeders. The modding forum has good instructions for a 3.7 bottem feeder and lots on the tube and box mods of every sort. Head over there and scope it out. If you don't want to build one, Krimson and Foxxy threads have great guys- both do box mods at good prices and have excellent reps.

Thanks for the replies, its hard to find info on here sometimes. I'm leaving toward building a flashlight mod but bottom feeders have caught my eye as well. the vapage vmod looks nice but I hadn't found much info on it. Everyone seems to love the reos but that's a but out of my price range right now.
I'm almost on the exact timeline you are and feeling great. If you can swing it, a silver bullet is great, but tomorrow my foxxy should be here and it is really reasonablly priced and super quick to get in your hands

congrats on the 8wks...I am coming up on my 8wk anniversary as well and just pulled the trigger on an E-Power...I orderd mine from Crystal Clear Vaping...next on the list is a box mod, preferably a variable voltage type...may just havvta build it myself.........

Here is to your 8 weeks - way to go. Lot's of good info on mods here - do some research - make a descison - go for it.
Maybe you would have saved some cash, but a lot of people go along the path of 510, then ego then a mod. The main thing is that you are 8 weeks in, and it really doesn't matter how you got there - congratulations!!!
