Happened to catch this broadcast by chance and just finished watching. I thought AJ was fairly supportive of vaping but, the casaa gentleman was shouted down and I don't think he got his message across even though the Professor was straight out wrong on many points. He was a very tough opponent for debate and was a smooth talker. Now we know his talking points. I hope Dr. Phillips gets a little debate prep going for next time. Not trying to be negative, just saying. I do appreciate all CASAA does for us. I just wish the message had gotten across a little stronger.

I agree Capt.Shay. Glantz livelihood depends on badmouthing ecigs, he gets grant money I'm sure. This is the second interview I've watched where Dr. Philips gets interrupted and railroaded by the ANTZ faction. The last question was directly asked of Dr. Philips and Glantz just took over completely.

Yes, Thank You Dr. Phillips for appearing and doing what you do. The points you were able to get across were great.

In my opinion, Glantz was very disrespectful, as usual. It appears he tries to get the opponent comfortable then tries to go for the kill. He is disrespectful to his opponent, the moderator and ultimately the viewer.

The problem with these segments is Glantz is good at what he does. Ultimately he is a rude and just keeps spewing the same B.S over and over again. Dr. Phillips has too much class when dealing with this guy! This is the second time he got run over by the freight train. I hope the public sees Glantz for what he is. Thank you Dr Phillips for taking the time to face off against this idiot. My only advice is....give him the same respect he gives you. Though I don't know that fighting fire with fire is CASAA's way! Maybe E.K can chime in with her opinion.

If I was DR Petrodus and qualified to go head-to-head with this POS AKA Glantz ...
I would not play into his hands playing his game by his rules.
I would reverse him with tons of humor, jokes about everyone knows the truth, lots of smiling, etc.
Not to say I wouldn't be interjecting good arguments but would do it with a sense of humor
which would give the illusion that anyone with 2 brain cells could clearly see Glantz is an agenda driven POS.
That would cause Glantz to "loose it" revealing to everyone he is simply agenda driven and the truth
means nothing to him.

What is really lacking in our movement when debating the opposition ... is humor.
If we use lots of humor when making our points ... and don't lose our heads and get into
heads-up fights ... we will win more than we loose.

When the public sees us laughing and joking about propaganda ... The public assumes we are correct
and if they had negative thoughts about ecigs ... they wonder if some where planted in their heads by those
who spread lies and negative propaganda.

Yeah, I don't know?? My high school education didn't offer a debate team!! LOL. I am sure there are studies done on effective debate protocols, though i'm sure they can be debated too!!!
