first, let me say I was even more impressed by the weight and solidity of the mini than even reading about it prepared me for. To me, the more solid and heavier the feel of a mod, the more I like it. It is no coincidence that my favorite mods have always been metal.

That being said, the size is still very compact it is actually shorter than my ego with a 1000 MAH battery. This is my first experience with a low resistance carto. It has very nice flavor, even though I think I may have flooded it a bit. It will also be interesting to see what it performs like when I get my AW IMR 14500 batteries. Since I was not a big user of cartos, I am sure there will be a bit of a learning curve for me to avoid flooding and knowing when to add juice.

I do have to say that I cannot recall another mod that I have had that produces as much vapor as this does. So far after just a few minutes I am very impressed and I'm sure I will be even more impressed once I've learned how to use it properly.

Kudos Robert, on what seems to be a pretty darn nice device.

I may be saved. I dug through my box and found a couple of standard 14500's.............better than nothing. Charging them now.........

Nope. I thought the same thing and popped in a BDL IMR, and it sucks. I use regular protected batts on the Grand, but they don't cut it on the Mini. I was told the Mini hits like the Grand only with AW IMR, still waiting for them to arrive.

Excellent to hear. I am enjoying my first mini too. After having Grands for 4 months the mini really feels mini :)
Still built to last though. I don't plan on ever ever being without at least one Grand and one Mini.
They both have their time and place IMO.
