After my vape session yesterday I started feeling like crap. Kinda shakey, like when you're blood sugar gets low. Thats the best way to describe it... a little stomach discomfort too.

I've been using 24mg PG based juice, and I've been going through about 2mls a day.

When I first got my vape last week I had no problems... However I've been finding ways to take massive hits with my PT as well. So maybe I'm getting too much nicotine?

I had just one VG cart, but it was 16mg so I can't compare it directly to the 24mg PG carts I've been puffing on... however I felt better after vaping the VG, but it could be placebo as well.

Anyone else run into this problem? Is it the Nic or the PG? I made myself practice some self control and have only been taking 3 or 4 puffs in one sitting and the symptoms are gone... However I like vaping more often and if I could isolate the culprit I'd be happy.

I could be nic, but you usally get a headace 2 with queasy shacky felling. You said you were playing around with taking massive hits, so it could also be to much oxygen, kinda like hyperverntaling. You could test this with out the e-cig just by doing the breathing you were doing when taking your hits and see if you have the same problem.

sry, about the spelling just on lunch break and about out of time..

Well I switched back to my KR8, with the 24 mg cartomizers and no problems.

The problems started with my 901... I wonder if the crappy feeling wasn't from the primer in the new atty or the juice that was in the prefilled carts? Quality Control isn't the Chinese' strong point.

Whew... thought I was done vaping there for a minute.

The PT could easily be giving you too much nic too fast for your individual needs (since it's a higher voltage, it vaporizes nic liquid faster and in greater volume, as you've noticed).
You might try switching to a lower level for chain-vaping and reserve the 24mg for when a tougher craving strikes, or for exclusive use on regular batteries (lower voltage).

It's funny you describe it as the feeling of low blood sugar (shakiness...I get strangely clammy, too). That's exactly how I feel when I get too much nic, I'd just never been able to find a good analogy to it. :)

I had a scare a couple of weeks ago...

I don't remember the exact chain of events..but had been vaping trying out new flavors and also had a couple of analogs in between.

All of a sudden, my heart started RACING like it was trying to punch it's way out of my chest, followed by a sense of disconnect and my wife said I turned green. I almost went to the ER but the symptoms subsided after a half an hour and I think actually getting in the car to go to the ER "scared" it out of me.

I have since learned to cut back my nic (was vaping at 24mg) and now cut my 24 mg w/ 0mg of the same flavor to make it 12mg.

I have not had an episode again yet....

Went to the doctor, told him what happened...seems to think it was just too much nicotine but going to have blood tests and EKG ran to be sure (I have HBP anyways and need to take care of that)

So just be CAREFUL. I thought "well I have chain smoked analogs all night while drinking and never had a problem--WTF?"

But PV's must deliver the nicotine quicker, in a larger dose or I just truly "overdid" it.

It was scary and I have read a couple of other folks who had some bad reactions too.

Just cut back on the nicotine for those "heavy sessions" and you should be ok...

+1. It's unlikely you overdosed on nicotine at those levels, IMO, although 'massive hits' = ?? Nictonie is very unlikely to be absorbed more quickly by vaping compared to smoking.

There are, however, other possibilities - there is an adjustment period to vaping - people can become dehydrated, have muscle aches..all of which = drink more water. You might be allergic to PG, or something else in your choice of e-liquid.

It's possible you started to slightly of course, but no one knows what your usual dosage is, what your magic way of 'great hits' is, etc, or really just how much you've been vaping.

Please read the posted link before telling others things like 'vaping must get nicotine into my system quicker!' (or more). :)

I never really used my 901 for that reason. The primer made me really sick. I vaguely remember something someone posted about how to clean them out but I got so sick I just stuck my 901 in a drawer.
