Too much TA?

I purchased some TA (50% dilluted) from ecx a while back. I mixed 2ml TA with 8ml pg. I then made two bottles using this mix at 2 drops per 10ml, and 4 drops 10ml. Tasted them immediately after mixing and found little to no flavor. After about a week I tasted again, still no flavor. Thinking I may have mixed wrong, I made 2 more bottles using the 50% dilution, again 2 drops and 4 drops each. Now after 3 weeks, I still have little to no flavor, good or bad. Would the 50% dilution be too strong and mute the flavor, or is it just a bad bottle?

Doubt it's too much. Can't say for sure. I use it as a spice or backnote, never tried it as a single flavor.

I know Scubabardan has, but I cannot remember his recipe. (It was repeated fairly often in this sub back about 4 years ago.)

I'd say at first you undershot and then you over shot. You turned the 50% dilution into a 10% dilution and used that at only 2 strengths (both without specific %'s). Then, you went straight back to the 50% strength and tried that at the same strength as the 10%. That's a big jump in strength with not much experimenting in between.

I'd say try that 10% dilution again, but this time grab a syringe and up the % a bit, perhaps to 3%-5%. I don't know how much 2-5 drops per 10mL is according to your equipment, but that can't be much higher than 1%, if its even that high.
