Well personally I don't get flavor from either one (PG or VG) aside from the level of slight sweetness of VG.Are you sure about the cleanliness of your diluent liquids, and of your atty/carto?When I do flavored liquids, I find that I use 10-15% flavor and I aim for 50/50 mix most of the time for VG/PG. I'm using concentrates from Totally wicked's red label line if that matters. Maybe just bump up your flavor a bit?As to measuring with syringes, I get rubbery tastes from the plunger. So I bought a nice 5ml graduated pipette through a local lab. My mixes got a lot more consistent since then...Taking notes to remember your recipes is a must, and some people swear by steeping their liquids to enhance flavor .As to your formula...is your flavor a PG or VG base?Hope that helps , best wishes! Also this may help. e-Liquid Calculator

You could try Bitter wizard but I suggest a few drops to test. I have detected that sweet flavor from the flavoring and not the base. Bitter wizard is designed to cut down the sweetness in tobacco e-liquid. I seen a thread about vinnegar use and have used a few drops of vinegar. However, some like/some do not. I find the two similar in taste. In reference to cutting down/lessening the sweet flavor from flavorings.

I bought my 100mg VG nic from RTS and it is thick and hard to measure.

Your comment just gives me shivers! Regardless of a VG or PG nic base, you should have NO ISSUES with measurements AT ALL!! At 100mg, you can't afford, health wise, to have measuring issues!!!

Please relate how you measure your nic. If you're using a syringe with a needle, then you need to rethink your process.

Sorry, don't mean to be alarming... BUT, again, you should not have any issues with measuring.

Did I mention MEASURING?!?!

I measure with a syringe without the needle. I have sizes 1, 3 and 5ml. First I wear latex gloves and I'm making 5ml samples. I use this calculator: http://www.........../shopping/shopcontent.asp?type=eliquid_calculator which I verified the calculations from all the excel calculators on this site. I leave the cap on the bottom of syringe and fill it to the exact ml or fraction of that the calc shows. I then remove the cap to release it into the sample bottle. I use this same method for all ingredients. After that, a shake and warm bath.

I see a lot of people measuring with drops, but when I tested drops per ml, I ranged anywhere from 20-50 drops per ml depending on the liquid and dropper bottle. That method seemed very inaccurate.

What suggestions do you have for accurate measuring of all the ingredients?

Thanks

I make my small mixes pretty much the same as you. But I use PG nic, which makes the process easier due to the thinner viscosity.

One hint that may ease your mixing: I use a flip top spout cap on each of my 120ml PG nic, PG and VG bottles...

Besides the three bottles above, I also mix my nic base/PG/VG 100ml at a time (graduated cylinder) and put that in a fourth 'base' bottle with said spout top.

I take 60mg PG nic down to 15mg 60PG/40VG (my normal vaping level). Then all I need to do is add the appropriate amount of flavoring for smaller test batches.

What level nic do you normally vape?
