I started out at 24mg and within three weeks I dropped to 18mg. Currently vaping @ 15mg and will probably stay there.

He should take your advice.

36 is way high - maybe if you are having a few vapes over the course of a day it will help with cravings but a 2 pad is going to be chaining at one point and the suggested levels would be more suitable under the circumstances. He can cut the 36 down to 18 by diluting with no flavor pg or vg.

Vape On!

36 is way too much if you chain vape.

Most new vapers chain vape because it's fun, and they've been trained to smoke it until it ends.

Get some low nic in the same flavor and mix. I started at 26 and I got headaches. I'm on 12 or 18 and it's still giving me headaches.

Of course I'm doing 5 ml or more per day...

Why do make a 36mg in the first place, too be mixed,or to used by a 800 lb bigfoot?

Correct, they're generally meant to be diluted with flavoring. I know TastyVapor does this. You can buy the 36 nic and buy their doubler (just the flavoring in pg/vg) to save money.

Headaches are one of the first signs of over dosage.

I was a 2 plus pack a day smoker. I've been vaping for over 3 years and I am still at 30 mg. Started at 18 and went up from there. I was vaping my brains out at 18 and 24. So I went to 36 and that helped a lot. I still kept a 3 ml bottle of 48 mg with for the toughest times. I would just drip a few drops in my carto along with the 36 mg juice. Then I started vaping WTA juice and that slowed me down quite a bit. Went from using 5 to 8 ml a day to 3 to 5 mils with the WTA at 36 mg. (Whole Tobacco Alkaloid). Hell I was even using snus packets if I couldn't vape continuously. Or for any reasonable amount of time.
I agree too that a headache and nausea are the first signs that you are getting too much nic. If you start feeling like that you are most likely are not going to feel like vaping anyway. Listen to your body. Drink lots of water. I say go with the level that keeps you comfortable and off the stinkies. If you feel the need to lower your dosage, do it slowly and do it in your own time.
Like I said, 3 years in and I'm still vaping 30 mg juice. But that's ok with me cause I'm not smoking. My true feelings are in my signature line below. "I love not smoking way more than I ever loved smoking".

a thousand times NO! lol. I was almost a 2 pack a day smoker. I smoked around 35 cigarettes a day. People think that the MORE cigarettes you smoke, the HIGHER the nicotine content of your juice. NO! NO! THATS WRONG! lol. I'd go almost as far as saying the MORE cigarettes you smoked the LESS nicotine you need in your juice! I use 12mg juice and I even want to try going down to 6mg because chain vaping the 12mg juice is STILL giving me anxiety. I promise, if you smoke a lot, your going to vape a lot. If you vape a lot, you don't need a high nicotine content juice... Because your going to be vaping often. You'll get more nicotine from your vape frequency, because your used to smoking so much, there-for you don't need a high amount of nic in your juice! just my 2 cents.

I vape 12 but like my good friend Plumes I'll probably cut down to 6. I like to chain vape and 12 seems a little too much for that. The fact I use nasal snuff at the same time doesn't help lol. I suffer from anxiety as well and have been taking a few herbal supplements to help i.e L theanine, passion flower, happy camper.
