Well, I've done the typical vaper's "evolution" from cigalikes, to egos, to VV/VW mods, to Mechanical. my last order, however, I took a step BACK, and went back to a VV/VW ego style and have to say, I might enjoy it better than the mechanicals or the VV/VW. I ended up getting that VV/VW battery with a mini protank, and I am impressed at the flavor. Granted, the old familliars of leaking into the battery connectors, and wicking problems have arrived, but I seem to be liking the flavor when it works. Granted, it's the mini protank that's the winner here, but I didn't expect such a dramatic increase in taste. It seems this little protank out performs my genesis style and Aqua when it comes to pure taste.

Has anyone else came to this conclusion?

I've really enjoyed the ease of the Genesis and the vapor production of the Aqua. Even though I know I can rebuild the coil in the Protank style, I liked the ease of maintenance, ejuice capacity, and coil building of my other two. Anyone have any suggestions?

You know I still get my vivi nova out and use it when I want to change up my delivery / flavor profile. It changes the flavor of most of my juices subtly, not necessarily a muted flavor, but it with it being top coil it just gives me different notes.

I'm not going to 'go back' and use it all the time, but there is something to be said in revisiting previous setups, or trying the new generation of clearos out there. Knowing what I know now also helps me fine tune my setup to reduce leaking and dry hits.

My current setup of an RM2 with a REO is hard to beat for ease of use and flavor. I seem to be on a liquid feed kick at the moment with everything on my wish list being of that genre. If you have never looked at them, it might be worth a look. It seems to tick your boxes of ease of use, capacity and coil building, plus you get excellent flavor and vapor.

Yea, I have seriously considered the Reo. Only downside to that, is I don't like box style. It's not a major dislike, but I've always liked how I can hold the cylinder type mods. I'll have to take a look at switching to something like the reo in the future.

I totally understand. I'm back to using egos and clearos 99% of the time. For price and ease of convenience, they really can't be beat.

I think people over-estimate the importance of their hardware. IMHO, the juice is what makes vaping enjoyable. It doesn't even have to be expensive juice - the important thing is that you like it.
