tool for popping tops

I bought this for my daughter a few years ago and she doesn't use it but the hook works well for popping the white cap off of cartos...

I broke a cap last night trying to remove it off a pear cart using the same method I have before I was a little disappointed I may have to take a look at this.

I broke my first top yesterday on my first cart of Smilin Menthol (fantastic flavor, bought 3 bottles to refill with!), seems to be a different design than older carts tops. Will have to look for something better to remove them with.

I may have to wander next time my gf asks me to take her to michaels ill see if I can find it there probably wont be as cheap but at least ill save on shipping.

I will keep that in mind there is one not to far from my house but we do go to wisconsin often as well and they have a few up north she goes to michaels more then anything here in chicago so I will price compare between the two

Dental scrapper works pretty well too. Was using a nail but had a few breaks so I looked for something better.

I use a monkey hook. It's used for hanging stuff on walls,but works quite well.

i use a bobby pin that i broke in half, so the end is slightly curved naturally, and from the break. seems to work well.

i'm with Tenebrae, the dental pick works good.small enough to move the filler around too

LOL! i've had them fly a bit, but i just have tried to be more careful since then. i had to track a couple down.

I use a tiny medical tool called a mosquito forceps (ok, not sure if that is REALLY what it is called, but that's what I've always heard it referred to as. Works GREAT!

a small corkscrew for wine works extremely well for me.

A simple screw works well too, a few twists and you can rock that cap lightly and then pop it off.
