mods: if we broke any rules, it was in ignorance and we only meant well. No pot-stirring.

But also, mods, if we did break rules and you do delete or remove this thread, please, please, please include a reason why. For some reason, some mods will explain why a thread or post gets deleted, which helps those who don't seek to get in trouble by doing the same thing. Other times mods will just delete a post or thread and not give a reason. Always giving a reason is helpful in many ways.

I'm glad to see PBusardo address the flavored alcohol issue. If the FDA and the ANTZ are so concerned about tempting children with sweet flavors, why are alcohol companies allowed to make vodka, whiskey, tequila, etc. in all those same flavors? What about the chiiiiiillllldrennnnnn? Aren't they worried that these yummy flavors will lure them into drinking???

(It's a rhetorical question, btw. The answer is that politicians and the government make lots and lots of money from alcohol, as does Big Pharma from treating all the illnesses/injuries/diseases caused by it)

Let me get this straight. The FDA wants to outlaw ecigs but fully supports tobacco smoking? And Congress wouldn't be caught dead smoking but they're all a bunch of drunks. What a bunch of hypocrites all these rulers are.

Bottom line is "it's all about money". Tobacco employs thousands of American workers. And alcohol also employs thousands of workers. Alcohol and tobacco all create money for the government through sin taxes. Not hard to figure out.

Ecig products will be next to join this group, I guarantee it.
