So, I've been searching all over the net for springs that will fit into the top cap of my Tobeco Chi You Megan clones...I got nothing...
But, I've now got some questions about springs.
It's my understanding that the beryllium copper springs are non conductive. If that's the case, I can see why that would be desirable in a button spring.
However, I would think that a spring inbetween a battery and an rda would need to be as conductive as possible, so as to lower voltage drop.
So, what is the best material to use in a spring for this purpose?
...and does anyone know where to get such springs?
Many thanks, all.

I used to buy spring asst. from my ace hardware. Then I decided to try makeing my own out of the copper wire from my welder, works great. Just wrap around a screw very tightly, sometimes a couple diferent sizes must be tried to find the right size.

Sweet! Thanks!
Can you get copper welding wire in a gazillion different gauges?
What gauge worked for you?
I know they at least come in a few different guages, where I work we have three different welders also with different guage wire.I dont remember the guages, but go to a welding shop or tool supply and check them out, maybe you can ask for samples. Its pretty cool to play around with, and make your own prefered stiffness and throw length.
