I have recently become interested in re-exploring top coils, and I'm looking for some recommendations. I've tried the T2 and found it to be far too airy, and I'm not interested in having to fidget with a device to get it to work with my liking. I just want to fill and vape. I also tried the Mini Vivi Nova. Those seemed to be a bit temperamental. I had two, one had a bent post and leaked all over the place, and the other seemed to gurgle a bit and build up juice where the drip tip connects. I do like the T4 quite a lot, but it just doesn't hold enough juice. I like a semi-tight draw with as much flavor and vapor as possible. I haven't tried the T5, the ReDux, or the Replaceable Stardust so I am kind interested in trying those. I would try the E1, but it has a metal drip tip...... If anyone is interested in sharing their experiences with those devices I would like to hear them, or just recommendations in general. Thanks!

The E1 is great when they work good... several have reported dry hits with them often... I didn't have that issue but that doesn't mean the other reports should be ignored... The only issue I had was the ones I got seeped from between the bottom piece and tube, resolved typically with by using an extra o-ring.

Oh... and the drip tip is a standard 510 type... so if you do try one, it can use any standard drip tip you choose.

Please note that Stardust's have so many fakes out there... if you want to help ensure you are getting the real deal... get them from GotVapes. If you don't... ymmv

I have already experienced this with a "vendor branded" CE5 - super tight draw, little vapor production on 2 outta 3 units.

Look into the new Bauway CE8 they are a stainless steel wick top coil I believe. Replaceable coils. They are on pre order right now.

Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

From what I have seen, these are still fiber filler guts with a wrap of mesh around that. Probably helps feed the filler more efficiently but still a fiber filler heart. Replaceable coil section, yes. Rebuildable, no. Appears that they may work well though.
I believe GV has these coming down the road. Bad posted a pic somewhere in this forum.

Found it....

Very much agree...right now though I have been using the T4 exclusively. I simply love this unit even though lots of refilling but its easy refilling...

I agree with zipper. But if you want a larger capacity try the Titan. It's practically as good as the Stardust Replaceable.

I have to put my 2 cents in for the Vision Grande. The downsides to the Grande are that you can't lay it on its side and it has a proprietary whistle tip. The tip is nice, its not really a downside, but the fact that you can't change it is. The upsides are awesome vapor production, zero dry hits on the short version, you can freight train this thing like nobody's business, very warm vapor, great flavor, and ease of cleaning. These are the one constant in my toolbox.
