Ok last few questions of the night.. I know from djsvapour has said this has a KR808 fitting so...

1/ Does this mean I can use ANY of the other batteries, tanks that Jacvapour sell? can I just the when I need to replace the parts like the Crystal tanks and Vgo2 400mah batteries can I order any of the tanks or batteries from their website? eg. Could I replace my tank with a Blank Crystal Vgo Tanks (Long Wick) or Re-buildable Blank Crystal Metal Vgo Tanks (Long Wick)?

Also could I replace my battery with a 88mm Manual Switch Vgo2 900mah Batteries to give it a longer battery life!!??

2/ Do I have to order my replacements with Jacvapour? Im from the UK so are there any good or cheaper KR808 fitting sellers that I can get replacement tanks or batteries from!?

3/ The vapour....do I have to get Jacvapour liquid or again can I get it from anywhere....if so where is a good and reliable UK seller/website?

Thanks again....nearly got my head round it...sort of.

You have a few options.

One that springs to mind is that IF you have an 808 - 510 adapter, you can in fact buy ANY battery on the market.
Some will be not only better, but cheaper than JacVapour. (ooh...have I said too much...)

myepack sell a limited variety of 808 stuff....like the e-smart clearomiser. (and cartomisers)
They also sell the same NON-UK liquid as JacVapour. (Dekang)
Any/all liquid is good.

My latest two deliveries of e-liquid (UK made, freshly mixed) was from here.

LT Ecigs

The only thing you can't do is use 510 or eGo tanks/clearomisers/cartomisers ON Jac Batteries. All the Jac tanks CAN work on any battery from anywhere BUT you need the adapter.

I would post you one, but Mrs DJS is currently vaping myepack cartomisers on a Vision Crystal battery (a 510 one) or an old Riva.

Ah okay dokey, im getting it abit now...

So im happy with my kit at the mo but when comes the time to replace some kit and buy some new batteries etc can you reccommend a good UK website to buy either an 808 to 510 adapter OR just get some new 510 batteries and tanks?

Thanks...everyones been a great help and this is the 1st day cig free for a long time....ive used approx just over 1mg tonight (tank holds 1.6) but from what ive read alot of ppl use 2mg + a day...so I dont feel too bad about that.

Great forum this.

ps. I think the Jacvapour kit I got has been a great start but dont want to be "stuck" with them as my only place to buy!

JacVapour sell good products and have excellent customer service and reviews. The prices have come down a lot over the last year in fairness.
I "got out" because I wanted to buy lots of bits and bobs and that is where is all goes a bit complicated. If you are not vaping a great deal and like the products, it makes sense to stick with them.

I think they know me (I have reviewed them and said hello @ Vapefest 2013). The issue with long-term vaping is the relative cost of liquid and replaceable components. The liquid on JV is £4.35 for Dekang and £5.19 for made in the UK. I pay £2.49 and about £3 or so. *For me* that's a big difference. *For you* it's probably not even worth getting the calculator out for. £5.19 for a liquid you really like is definitely worth it. MY favourite liquid is £5.50 one of them and £6.00 for the other... but I don't buy much. :(

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't need to vape more than 1ml a day (I vape near 2ml) and the strength should be in accordance with what you smoked i.m.o. I was on 10-15 roll ups, the same nicotine as 2 packs of some ultra light cigarettes, 1 pack of normal.

Day 2 and not missing the analogs, the missus as quit 2 and I think is impressed with the new Ecig we have.

I "used" to smoke about 5 berkley superking menthol per day (ive googled and cant even find how much nicotine was in them...i smoked them for years and never looked!)

Im on 1.8mg strength vapor.....can anyone roughly tell me how much ml i should be vaping to sort of intake the same amount of nicotine? ish?

I know its a start but I dont want to be MORE addicted to nicotine if you see what I mean....is about 1ml per day the same as 5 berkley superking menthols!?

Thanks

Don't worry just now. IF you increase your nicotine intake, it's not necessarily bad news over a short period. Berkeley regular are listed as 0.9mg per cigarette. 5 of them is 4.5mg.
It's very hard to do a direct comparison, but 1ml of 18mg (1.8%) is not going to be 18mg of nicotine to you..(the yield)..

If you believe certain brands 1 refill (0.8ml) on some ecigs is 40 cigarettes. (40 fresh air cigarettes.... ??)

Best guess is 1ml of 18mg liquid will give you somewhere between 6-9mg. However, it just gets even more complicated as your peak level of nicotine (in your blood) is never going to be as high as smoking...not even with 24mg liquid.

Trust your instincts. Drink plenty. Try to limit your intake once you have seen the back of the ciggies for good. You could easily drop to 12mg after you've finished your liquids. I went from 24 - 18 - 12 over two months. 12 was close to it, but not quite enough. :)

Quick update, day 7 today for me and the missus and still analog free. Got through the weekend which was a big bonus. Even went for a couple of pints at the pub.

There was a guy in there smoking an ecig but I went outside for a mine...still doesnt feel right vaping inside (apart from at home)!

Thanks again for all the advise.
