Ok ive got the Jacvapour 400mah starter kit and now 11 days a non smoker. This has been an amazing start and I cant fault it. Im going to use these for when im at the pub or out and about but looking for a bigger battery version and from what ive read on here a better kit for home use.

I was going to go for 105mm Manual Switch Variable Voltage Vgo2 900mah Batteries - BATTERIES - All Products with the Nova tank - Re-buildable Nova Tanks for the Vgo2 - CARTOMISERS/TANKS - All Products

But after some advise im thinking id be better off going for the 510 stuff instead.

Now as I have all the 808 UBS and charger I will need to get a USB charger, battery and tank/clearomizer and have a max limit of £50 for the lot really..or somewhere near.

Im in the UK so really would want to order from one of these recommended stores -
Myepack.co.uk
E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings
Vape Escape
Home

Im thinking at the moment - Vision Spinner 1300 MAH - Batteries & Chargers & Protank 2 - Clearomizers

Slight problem is they have ran out of USB chargers! Fast Ego USB Charger - Batteries & Chargers

So...fill your boots....what would you buy!! :)

ps. Im still abit tempted to go with the Jacvapour upgrade as its stopped me smoking...do you change a good think?

thanks

I've never used the 808 stuff, but I think you may have more options generally moving over to a 510 type connection.

What I would say though, is if your setup is working as you like it, a change is not necessarily "better".

People RAVE about the Vision Spinners and are decent - you can't go far wrong there in my honest opinion. It's got a reasonable battery there too so will last a few hours between charges. The Protank 2 is something I use and would happily recommend also.

Vape Escape I know, I bought my Vamo mod from them - decent price and decent delivery.

I'd buy it all. :)

Hold on....maybe I did buy it all. :p

Certainly not from Liberty Flights though. That's a swear word around here.

You could go with the best of both worlds, try out a bigger JacVapour battery and get a Spinner 510 combo when it's all in stock...

- - -

I've been thinking about it all day actually. Maybe I was hasty and you should just stick with JacVapour (though not the liquids, obviously....!"*&?)

BUT....

are you the type of person always on the look out for new stuff, better stuff, different stuff?

As far as Jacvapour vs Vision spinner - you are paying more for an identical battery with proprietary threading which requires either reduced tank options or an adapter.

It is the same battery with a different logo and threads - totally your choice as to which you would like.

As far as moving up to a VV battery + Vivi Nova - thats a great kit youve put together whichever battery you pick :)

I did see : Vision Spinner Evod 1300 Kit Black you can add a nova and call it a day - 2 batteries, charger the works.

dj your advise has been superb so far but im keeping clear of the box shaped stuff (for now) as I dont want to screw up a good thing...hence my leaning towards Jacvapour....

Although even their BETA - Re-buildable VOX bottom coil tanks for the Vgo2 - CARTOMISERS/TANKS - All Products bottom coil is still out of stock...next week they say so all i could really upgrade to is the nova tank with the 900mah VV battery...seems best option from them at mo..

Still cant decide between the vision spinner 1300 / protank 2 or that...if I go for the VS ...where could I get a USB charger from if theirs is out of stock?

thanks again guys.

CreepyLady, thats a good set up kit but it includes a 900mah non-spinner too...which I dont really need.

Just spotted this one - Vision Spinner 1300 Kit

Not sure about the tanks....if I went for this one...which tank!?

I like all 3, none will be a poor choice. *MY* favorite out of those are Evods. They work well for me - no leaking issues, dry hits or fiddly bubkus. Iclear 16 is my second favorite out of the choices with the set up :)

I only have one box-shaped mod. It's new. It's great. :)

I suppose the more suitable question is how BIG do you want to go? What's the need with your batteries and run-time?
I did a camp in the summer with just an Evic and a Spinner. In truth, I never even needed half the external batteries.
I was so gutted the Spinner ran out (no electricity in tents...) I went to a pub one night and charged it. I did ask them and threw a fiver in the landlord's charity bottle.

It's a slippery slope which you might not want to go down. You could buy Jac VOX, but they are more expensive than the normal EVOD by £1.50. Then, you've got the replacement heads. I pay £1.20 and even £2 is too much over a year or more.

I was spending £100 a month on cigs.....im not over concerned about cost too much at the moment so the prices of Jacvapour dont bother me...i got some juice from Joose Juice coming about 80ml for about £13 so that will last me ages, Jacvapour juice isnt cheap!

Its between Spinner and Protank 2...although ill need to find a USB charger from somewhere.... OR the 900mah VV Jacvapour with a NOVA tank...and get the VOX when available.

50/50 at the mo.....

For a couple bucks more than the spinner, you could go with an innokin itaste vv3. It's a little more flexibility (ego and 510 threads for your toppers), variable voltage and variable wattage, shorter than the spinner. Only downside is a shorter battery life (800 vs 1300), but uses a standard micro-usb cable for charging, and you can vape while it charges.

Get the express kit without the toppers, and pick up a couple of Aspire or Davide BCC atomizers so you can keep a couple of flavours on the go at the same time.

just my 3 cents.

Going even against my own judgement.....for reasons ill explain below we have gone for the following -

Vgo2 VV (Variable Voltage) Manual Starter Kit
Kit Contents:
1 x Nova Tank (these hold 2ml of e-liquid and can be refilled around 15 times each before the coil may need replacing). The tanks come with a 2.4ohm coil and 2 spare coils at 1.8ohms and 2.8ohms
2 x Vgo2 Variable Voltage manual switch batteries (3.3v - 4.8v). 900mah (105mm) batteries
1 x Instruction leaflet

1 x 4.2v Long lead USB charger for charging the Vgo2 VV batteries from a USB port (can be used with other Vgo2 manual batteries)
1 x Small travel case - The kit comes packaged in the case
1 x Usb to mains adapter UK - 500ma

Black Vgo2 manual/auto cone
Re-buildable Nova Tank Small (2ml) single - 1.8ohm, 2.4ohm and 2.8ohm included (smoked black)
Replacement 2ml Nova tank top and mouth tip (black)

This is alot to do with the father in law...who needs to stop/cut down for health reasons.

Im thinking ill swap from the starter kit one of the 900mah VV batteries for a 400mah one I already have...this give me a battery im after and give him a smaller one to use if the bigger one he doesnt get on with ..when out perhaps.

I get a nova tank as he does...ill have to teach him how to use it...that might be difficult...but worth a shot.

I think after this purchase which with discounts cost £60 should last us a while and if the FIL fails completely he can give me all the stuff back which I can use.

I think the Vision spinner / protank2 will have to wait a few months...(still on the shopping list).

Thanks for all the advise guys and im hoping this lot will last me a good while...keep me, the missus (and the father in law cut down) off the analogs for a while.

Next job....find some good tobacco flavour for the father in law who smokes about 30 rolled cigs a day! advise!!!?? im thinking 24mg strength to start with....can anyone point me in the right direction of a decent UK juice supplier of that stuff...Joose Juice only has caramel flavoured tobacco...DOH!!!

Thanks again guys.

Ill let you know dj. To be honest ive gone for the easy option....i know its working for me and the GF who have both smoked for 20 years....11 days off analogs for both of us it far more than id of ever imagined....im not saying its easy as I know alot of others perhaps have stuggled to quit...and it might get harder too...but at the mo im delighted with the results.

Im hoping that this passes on to the father in law..which quitting/cutting down is alot more important in the near future.

11 days is nothing...so im sticking to what I know but in the knowledge that ill more than likely move on from the set up I have.

Appricate the time spent by you and others helping me so far and ill be back with more questions im sure!

Thanks.

Post # 9 I think you made a great choice and congrats
so im sticking to what I know but in the knowledge that ill more than likely move on from the set up I have.
When I first began vaping I purchased a large expensive Mechanical Mod with the intention it would last a long time and I would have no need for any further upgrades....Boy was I wrong  We all grow throughout this process and ALL that matters is we have a stress free and enjoyable journey.
11 days is nothing
I very strongly disagree as we all know how addictive analogs can be. You and your GF should be VERY proud of your accomplishments thus far....I certainly am.
Im hoping that this passes on to the father in law..which quitting/cutting down is alot more important in the near future.
Really hoping success is in the cards for you and your and your entire family. It's really cool and admirable- 11 days in and already you're trying to help others...you my good friend are definitely a HUGE asset to the Community
Appricate the time spent by you and others helping me so far and ill be back with more questions im sure!
It's really been a pleasure getting to know you and your family and we're all here rootin' for you.
Best of Luck.

Yes. 11 Days is to be celebrated.

To be honest, it just gets easier as time goes by. By that, I mean all of it. A lot of vapers are into all sorts of "hobby" stuff and I like that too now and again, but mostly I set myself up for the day (or whatever) without even thinking about the seemingly big vaping questions.
Half the time I don't even care what the liquid is. If I don't like it much, I'll still vape the tank empty. If I've got time to rebuild something, I might, but sometimes everything can go wrong together, which is why I have a box of ready-to-go stuff.

The MVP is good all right, but it's just sat around for the event when suddenly I realise I used up 3 massive batteries over (say) 10 days and never bothered to charge them.

Mostly, I try not to overdo it. At some point, I'll probably have a crack at giving up Nicotine. Until then, I just enjoy vaping. :)

12 days now. Went to the pub tonight to watch football. Went outside twice with my ecig to smoke with my mate and didnt even consider having a drag of his.

This has been another big step for me. Dont want to count my chickens but I feel like ive broken the curse of smoking "analogs"....ive wanted to do this for years.

In a way I feel like its been too easy..........I sort of feel like im cheating as the vaping is as good if not better than smoking......
