Have been using the latest revision of the Vision clearomizer, and noticed that Top Vapor Cherry Tobacco (@18mg) is the ONLY juice I currently have on hand which does not muck them up. Every other juice I've used in them (varying PG/VG ratios from multiple vendors) eventually get burnt residue on the wick which then leaches back into the juice, darkening it. They also get a burnt/funny taste.

The clearo I've been using the Top Vapor juice in is still vaping cleanly, no funky taste and no juice discoloration...and it's been through many more fills than any of the others (some of which are now getting mucked up a SECOND time after cleaning).

As the Cherry Tob. is the only TV juice I currently have on hand, but about to order....wondering if anyone else has noticed similar pleasant results with any of the other TV flavors....anyone?

Everything I've put in them, a few different TW juices, and stuff form other vendors, gunks the coils. I haven't had a coil stay to the point where you can see individual wraps around the wicks for more then like an hour or two.

That said, they still hit just fine. My key to decent Vision vaping is I take the inner silicone ring (the one with the nub you can pull out), turn it upside down, and gut the little indent that goes all the way to the inside and is meant to fit over the wicks. I make it like 50x bigger, but not big enough to go all the way through and have leaks. It gets rid of my burnt taste as long as I tip it every so often.

That said, they still gunk up on me :)

But I make due because these are the only things I've vaped that "draw" like an actual cigarette to me.

Thanks much for the info, will try that modification tomorrow (got a bunch soaking for overnight)...sounds like a major improvement. And I really like the way they draw too, about perfect to my preferences.

At the price they actually really could be viewed as disposable but...eh, nothing wrong with getting the most outta the peripherals, i always say. But in general the less time i have to spend on maintainence/cleaning/rebuilding, the happier i am. I don't mind going through a lot of effort to vape some of the time, but there are also days when I just want to grab a batt and a few filled cartos and be done with it. The clearos are great from that standpoint and perform quite well in terms of vapor production/taste...i'd go so far as to say they're approaching the status of best all-around workhorse system in my opinion...edging out EMDCCs by a good margin because the "stardusts" are easier on batts, and far sturdier. So if i can find a few more juices which perform as cleanly as the TV Cherry Tob. in the clearos, i'll be very pleased indeed. Hoping some of the other TV juices share a base with the CT, it seems to be nice and clean...though of course other/different flavorings could add to the muck potential regardless. I have some Mad4 on the way, and some minthol, also some good ol' standby Dekang tobacco....i'll see how they go.

I used them for a while with pure VG and other top vapors and they seemed to last as long as the ce2's and I really didn't have a problem other than that the wick broke apart really easy, not as strong as the clearomizer wick, IMO

Thanks for the info Madcaprym...do you happen to recall which flavors you used?
