I was thinking of the kayfun mini but I haven't seen any good pictures of it on a 14500 mod. Do you have a pic?

Here's mine with a JM16:

i haven't measured my Bagua but i'm guessing IBTanked would come out with a 17mm when their current lineup is 15-19-22-25.

i read somewhere the lowest safe ohms on a 14500 is 1.2 ...i'm not the coil building savant just yet so i've been using pre-made coils at 1.6~1.7 ohms and they've been satisfactory.

I use mine (14500) @ 1.2 ohms but I usually use the 1st hour or so (until it drops to 3.9) of a new battery with a 1.5 dripper. I don't really love 1.2 ohm @ 4.2v & I don't feel comfortable with those watts on my kayfun.

I have not used one but I would think that a 510 to ego adapter might leave a mini pt2 nearly flush?

With a 510 to ego adapter my Evod sits flush on my JM16. I do have a bagua 14500 clone too & I believe it sat flush on that as well. Now I'm going to to check lol.

edit: yea it sits pretty close to flush. My stupid bagua still doesn't work though.

No, it has about an 1/16" gap. Not that the gap is really bothersome it's just that with ego fittings the tank sits high. I'd like a 510 Mini Protank 2 but not with that extra grey part that's for the ego. I'd like it to fit like a regular 510 with the base right at the bottom of the tank eliminating that elongated look that ego threading with adapters give you.

There should be a small gap with the adapter .

Zealous, why doesn't your Bagua work? I know mine didn't at first because the firing pin didn't come up high enough to make contact with the battery. That's an easy fix by inserting a small washer behind the pin so it's raised just enough to make contact. Then tighten it down real tight so when you lock and unlock the switch the pin doesn't rattle free.

The final product... I think. I went back to the cheapo $2.50 tank, gave it a new drip tip, rebuilt the coil to 1.27 ohm. The tank looks clean, sort of like a carto tank with just a post visible from the exterior. It vapes pretty good, nothing like the Chi/KFL next to it but good vapor for the road on short trips and better than my Ego stuff. Best of all, it was cheap. $20 for the clone with magnetic switch and as stated above for the tank. Excellent conversational piece IMO.

I think I just might leave a dripper on it after all of this. The tanks are just not providing the correct vapor/flavor for me. Confused as of now. Thanks to all who have given their input.

don't give up on the idea of a good carto... clearos are so crappy in comparison it's not even fair to put them in the same conversation. THROW OUT YOUR PROTANKS THEY ARE GARBAGE. Smok 2.0 ohm cartos work great with a 3.7v mod… full flavor and thick clouds.

I can't figure out why it doesn't work. Mine might be a different version than yours because mine is adjustable so I can raise or lower the firing pin by screwing or unscrewing it. At it's tightest it comes up pretty high over the derlin piece but when it's assembled it doesn't act like it's making contact so I don't know what's not happening. It should be making contact considering how high above the derlin piece it goes when depressed.
