Topping off cartridge

Day 2 with a 510 and for the most part it's working fairly well. My only problem is that, it seems I'm constantly having to top off the cartridge to get a good throat hit and right before I need to top it off, I take the cartridge off and draw directly on the atty, which gives me a couple of the best throat hits of all.
Since I've now decided that using a PV is probably going to work for me, I'm ready to upgrade to something else. I'm considering the ego, but if the only real difference is the battery life, I can't see this issue being resolved.
What are my options, as far as getting something that doesn't need to be juiced up so often?

They all need juice that often. Your best bet IMO is learning how to drip.

The other option is cartomizers. They are a cart and atty all rolled into one. The regular ones have filler like a cart, but they last about 150 hits for me.

But there are some new E2 ceramic ones with no filler that folks say last all day before a refill.
I have some on order that might come today. I will put up some notes on them after I have used them a week or so.
The no filler to burn sounds just perfect. And they hold 1ml of juice. There are XL that hold 1.8ml too. 1.8 would last me all day if they work well. It sounds like they have a great taste and vapor from the reviews I have read.

Even though the ego is just a bigger battery 510, they do perform better. I think more volts get through under load, so yes they do give more vapor and better throat hit than a 510 stick does.

Getting a good hit off cleaning the atty is nice, but you do run the risk of drying it out that way. I usually add 2-3 drops to the cart before I start and get the same effect.

Before buying an eGo, look into juicebox mods. You draw directly from the juice bottle instead of having to refill carts/cartos. I don't have one so I can't tell you what the TH is like but it might be what you're looking for.
