Hi all,

I just finish my second VV mod based on OKR-T (stepdown converter).

3.1-6.4 v
Resetabile fuse
Voltmeter (small refresh rate)
Works great with any atty,carto,clearo

I use TrustFire Protected 3.7V 900mAh 14500 Lithium Battery (2)-last all day at 4.2 volt
Voltmeter is from China,zero flash :)

Tork, from the pic that looks like a 3 wire meter...from what I've read on the ebay sellers sites those need an independent power source other than the source you are trying to meter (ok fine, I get that)...but then I thought, if you power the meter directly off the batts (before the reg) does that constitute an independent power source?...is that what you did?...and my last and even dumber question, does it work?

Cause if that's the case, why aren't we using LCD meters?

You'd have to find one first. You can get small segmented LCD displays like this, but then you need the electronics to measure voltage and drive the display. I haven't seen small voltmeters other than the LED ones people are using. You don't necessarily need three wires if the device is designed with a wide operating voltage, regardless of the display type.
